One Missed Call (Blu-Ray) £5.83 @ DVD.CO.UK

First it was the television in the essential J-horror film RINGU and its American remake THE RING. Then Takashi Miikes ONE MISSED CALL (aka CHAKUSHIN ARI) scared people away from another ubiquitous technology the mobile. This creepy remake plans to do the same as Shannyn Sossamon (A KNIGHTS TALE) plays a woman whose friends die after they get phone messages that are the sounds of their own deaths.

Abysmal film, really, really awful.

Not a bad price, although I saw it in Gamestation last week for £3.98 and wasn't even remotely tempted.
#2

Same here! Wouldn't pay 10p for this film!!

Still, an alright price. Probably best off with the original though

Why does it have to be online? It's 3.98 in store at gamestation if yours has stock. As others have said though, not even worth that.

The reason is not every one in the world has the same taste in films and might be after this film and think it's good and want to buy it online, because they might not have a shop were they live that sell this film in the first place, good enough reason for you

yep terrible film
you'd rather watch paint drying save your money for paint

Didn't vote cold, but can be found in WHSmiths on Blu Ray for £4.50 scanning through. But labelled as £9.

I have the exact taste in films that the genre of this film is in and still think its rubbish. Not everyone lives in places where every online shop ships to, shouldn't you have specified that too then? You asked for reasons for the cold votes and I gave you mine. Cheaper somewhere and its rubbish. Good enough?

So, we're looking for someone who thought this film was good, would be willing to pay £6 for it, and lives nowhere near a Gamestation.....

Does it push the boundaries of cinematography? no, is it a good storyline? no, is it a good all round film? no, but... if you were going to buy it anyway on Blu-ray or DVD, this would be a great deal!! :) heat added but only for the deal itself.

Rubbish film

cold !! sorry

Are we finally over the watered/dumbed down remakes of good to great Asian horror films for people who 'don't do subtitles'?
#20
Just watched it and while it's nothing original or groundbreaking it's not a bad film. The special effects at one point looked a bit cheap but other than that it's certainly worth watching, even if it means buying it to sell on Ebay the next day.
