Because they lie, cheat and bully their existing customers, and I am quite willing to write that as I have several recordings to substantiate it. AVOID

Well depends if you let people walk over you, they can all do that but i have found them ok, yes i have had problems but if you shout loud enough lol i have always got results. If it was that bad you just mail executive office and they sort it. Ive been with voda, orange and t mobile and they are as bad.

If they lie then I suggest you contact Trading Standards with your recordings, otherwise, accept that you were probably not listening/didn't read the T&C's and move along, nothing to see here ;)

I phoned them just now... there is no way they could offer me £15 a month. Their attitude is getting worse.
#13
Hot for me. 3 are by far the best for data. My Mrs on vodafone and never gets good Internet.
#14
Been with 3 for years and not had a problem with them, usually get a really good deal through them when i renew too.
#15
HOT from me - because its very very cheap!

I will never go back to Three and will never leave Orange but thats my choice... My sister has been with them for years, moved from Orange and will stay with Three as they're cheap!!

We both agree Three customer services are rubbish - but if your more interested in shed loads of free mins, texts and data for not much money - you put up with rude customer services.
#16
I am happy with them for data, but not voice...
#17
Not voting either way, but wouldn't touch 3 with a bargepole after having two contracts with them. Appallingly shoddy CS, duplicitous, conniving, etc, etc.

Seriously, if you offered me this free, still wouldn't touch it.

Didn't need to. Went straight to the top on April 6th last year and got a refund of 12months line rental at £15 per month, as she was disgusted at what she heard. She was speechless and very apologetic!

So lesson learned if you go with them record every conversation, but let them know you are recording it at the very start of the conversation.

Can this be used in an Ipad or is it a 'mobile only plan'?

Very happy with 3. Me and the Mrs have been with them for years. Always look forward to cracking renewal deals.

Nice find. Ignore the daft remarks. I could say the same about T-mobile being devious etc. I've got them told off by OFCOM twice and made them change their T&C's in the last 12 months!

Really what did they do and where you compensated?
#23
Hot from me.
I have just moved from O2 as I like the deal but i paid the £25 a month with £107 month back from topcashback.
This is cheaper than that even.
I agree the data signal is better than anyone I work with on all other contracts.
#24
good deal but worse network and customer service based on personal experience
banned#25
i got a similar plan when i cancelled , only 1000mins though but unlimited txts
#26
Excellent deal.
#27
It seems hit and miss what they offer an individual when their contract expires. My Mum phoned last month and got 500 minutes or texts, 5000 3-to-3 minutes and 2GB data for £5 a month. I called last week and they wanted £10 from me for 300 minutes or texts, 5000 3-to-3 minutes and 2GB data (so I got my PAC and left!).
#28
Good if your in a populated area or city but in south somerset the coverage for 3 is rubbish and what makes matters worse is a few 3 sites have been closed , near combe st nicholas i used to park near a 3 mast to use mobile internet and now the mast is .... Gone (but a o2 ones still there) , so it roams to orange .... I called up 3 and said within a 20 mile radius of my house there is about 8 anntenas belonging to 3 and about 45 belonging to orange .... and it says mostly with orange and orange is only 2g internet which is junk ..... Without hesitation contract cancelled remaining charges cancelled.

Been with 3 for around 6 years now. Yes initially their customer service was appalling but they have got better.. 3g is excellent and fast, not had major problems with voice. Always have 2-3 bars. Have had awesome renewal deals that knock the socks off others!

I imagine he is talking about T-Mobile trying to change their fair usage policy from 3GB data a month to 512MB - for all (including existing) customers. As far as I remember, the entire internet revolted, every tech site had it as their headline, offcom threatened to get involved, and then various legal bodies started suggesting it was illegal. T-Mobile U-turned within 24hours. I remember it made me smile at the time just how the power of the internet scared the crap out of T-Mobile. Still, it was a pretty crappy thing that T-Mobile tried to do, and I won't forget it anytime soon.

hOT FOR ME :) Been with 3 for 8yrs now, I have the same mins tex ect..but i got the nokia n8 for £16.50 a month
#32
has anyone got this deal?
#33
Voted hot. Good network. However, their C/S is shockingly bad.
#34
had to leave three after being with them for 3 years this month
came to renewal and all they would offer was same deals on website
expected call from retentions never came so left them
shame as i never had any problems with their service
#35
I paid £50 a month on my contracts and when they were up for renewal all they offered me was a 1-month rolling contract for £10 a month for 300mins, texts and internet...yes, the new business offer on their website.....needless to say I cancelled all contracts...the guy was gutted....serves them right....
#36
Hot from me too. No dramas with them in 8 years. Time to phone up and get this deal:D
#37
Hot from me. Although three have a well known bad rep, I have had nothing but a great experience with them with contracts. Polite and friendly customer services, always giving me a good deal, I did switch to Vodafone as they apparently have good customer service and had a slightly better signal in my area and they have been a nightmare, took me 1 week and about 8 phone calls just so I can buy a tethering bundle for my iPhone, and even now I have it switched on, I'm not allowed to switch it back off as i'm not in a tethering contract with them! Another time my service went down all day, Vodafone told me it was a known problem in my area and they are fixing it.

Three on the other hand, when I had a problem with the network, and it must of been for a few hours max, the CS woman gave me the entire month free as compensation (£25). Also, when I upgraded to the iPhone 4, I was having a few dropped calls, three told me that it was a known issue and that Apple are working on a fix, however as there is nothing they can do, they can cancel my contract early with no termination fees, bearing in mind I was about 4 months into a 12 month sim only contract so that is what I did as with Vodafone the signal never dropped due to the slightly better signal.

However, what I can say is that the Pay and Go department is a nightmare to deal with, but this is the same with all network providers, the contract departments are always 10x better don't even get me started with one of the T-Mobile managers!

This is the only network other then o2 that gives me signal in my house and I live in London, This deal is amazing by far the best I have every seen. Unlimited data means unlimited.

WOULDN'T TOUCH IT IF IT WERE FREE!

Cold btw :)

Agreed - a contract with them is just a no go for me... prepaid I can live with.

My sister got her Samsung Galaxy Ace this morning from three. Very similar in the number of mins and texts and its only £16pm. No money for the phone. 24month contract though.

Was sold this at the very first stage of cancellations.
