Be aware that stores such as Asda use thinlip mounts on their own brand cans, and this opener just does not cope at all.

Of all the tins I've tried mine with, I've been around 90% disappointed.

IMHO, save your £7 for beer

Why not put ring pulls on all tins?

Because not everyone is capable of using ring pulls for health reasons, myself included due to the strain it puts on my fingers causing severe agony.:x

Putting ring pulls on tins means I cant even use a tin opener properly on them

90%? Ive never had any problems with any tins (asda included) except square corned beef tins.

Been posted a few times now, bought one originally, but as said earlier they only work on some can's and were also cheaper last 2 times around.

Why not? Even if only one person interested in this offer doesn't know you can get free delivery from Amazon on orders over £15 it will have proved useful.

I got one of these earlier in the year for a relative with arthritis. It is a lifesaver for her and works great!

Ring pulls add to the cost of the can.
#21
At least I could say I pulled something in the last six months
#22
Beware with this. Bought from one of the Amazon traders last week and when it arrived it was a cheap imitation - not the culinare one. Have had my money refunded without any hassle.

Can't you just use the tin opener on the non ring pull end.

and then have yet another gadget in the drawer.:?

More often than not this cant be done as the bases are rounded to allow cans to be stacked easier:x
#26
Not a product for me, i just always use a normal tin opener for about 50p, no worries of buying batteries, or charging them, and it being flat when i want to use it.

I am not a fan or ring pull, i find them quite dangerous, and have cut my little finger a few times
#27
I have wrist problems and I have one of these, it's fabby, I can have soup without having to ask a neighbour to open the tin if nobody's home to open it for me :-D
#28
Can get these on ebay for £6.87 delivered
#29
Read the Amazon reviews before spending your money. Guess I'll stick with my old-fashioned opener.
#30
ive bought one very disappointed with it , a lot of canbs it wont open
#31
I 've been thinking about getting one, I have cerebral palsy, but after reading the mixed opinions I don't think I will bother, beer money all the way.

Hows it lazy? If you are elderly or have some disability then these could be a godsend (if they worked reliably by all accounts they dont though:x)
