I needed a new surge protector after my last one started making annoying beeps! I just picked one of these up at the Tesco in Hull city centre. It claims to pay for itself "many times over". Seems to be of good quality, and includes spare phone and network cables. I had a quick look around, and they seem to be going for around £30-£35 elsewhere.

Cant remember i googled for about an hour as everywhere was around £19 mark but i managed to get it for £12 delivered. Look about. Mine broke after 3 months.

Also bidup tv or whatever its called had them for £9.99 in there outlet shop.

Lots of ways to get it for around £10 you have to look and search.

Fair enough - hope mine lasts a bit longer than yours did!

Shopping channels... Aarrgh. That's why I bought my own telly to get away from all that. Heheh!

Looks like I'll stay with chopped and twisted wires for a bit!:whistling:
