They are good phones and you'd struggle to get a similar spec in the UK for this price but I do think OnePlus have shot themselves in the foot, it's clear they are using this as a way to discontinue the much cheaper OP3.

They could've at least improved the screen quality.

Theyre too expensive now

Idiots should have carried on with oneplus 3 at the same price... They've crossed the excellent value for money title now and I for one won't be ditching my Nexus 6p anymore!

In US they get a reasonable price with conversion, it's overpriced in UK. Hence cold unfortunately.

You added VAT to that conversion?

I'm going with O2 refresh method. It costs £17-19 more but has piece of mind. Sold my opo grade b to cex so got £101 back. Ordered the 128GB model think it'll hold its value better. the opo lasted me 2 years and a bit. so hoping this one lasts 3-4 years. Don't really use my phone for much other than whatsapp and internet browsing. Moved music to a Sony NWZ player. So it spares the battery life. Having a phone that doesn't lag much helps (little patience for slow process). Though I'll miss cyanogen.

Well -28 degrees isn't as bad as I thought it would be overnight..

The problem I have is that with the OP3 (standard) only 6 months old but still not available, it looks like OP have somewhat cynically decided to upgrade in the name of upselling and that will lose them a lot of friends. As an original One Plus One owner that at the time was a flag ship killer at budget prices. The 3T is an excellent phone none the less but it only just behind flag ship prices. I current have a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and the 3T would still figure in my shortlist.

Sorry not hot or cold for me as I was tempted by this phone, but going to carry on with my Galaxy S5 for a while longer.

If it had been the same price for the 128gb version I may have gone for it.

Thanks for the heads up anyway.

holding out for the oneplus4

I was hoping for that kind of money they was going to up the specs,
it looks like I'm going have to hold onto my galaxy s5 for a little bit longer

Don't think anyone over the age of 13 thinks like that. They're all mass produced items, some on a larger scale than others.

Agreed with most here, in so much that the price hike takes the phone into main stream flagship territory. You're not far off the price of the S7, with a far superior camera, screen, water proofing, SD card slot etc.

I have had a OPO and just bought the OP3 about 3 months ago. Not happy that they have released a newer version already. After this I don't think ill be buying OP phones again.

I meant US consumers get the phone at a reasonable price. Not importing it to UK.

I ordered the 128gb this morning still think it's good value for that phone with that amount of built in memory and when you look online the op3 is going for just under £400 alot of places so I expect it to hold its price well! The other reason it has gone up so much is the weakness of the pound right now! That's life but I'm ditching my s7 to give this a try

I was even surprised to see the op3t as good as I hope it is beat the iPhone 7 in a speed test on YouTube.

Went ahead and bought the 128gb model with a Karbon case, was a fan of the OP3 and only thing I was let down by was the battery, now that it has a 3400mah battery in the same form factor I am well in, compared the screen of a preview One Plus 3 at O2 to my friends S7 edge and to be fair you can't see any difference (in pixels at least) so don't really know why people are complaining, I my self have a LG G3 which has a res of 1440p and there is honestly no difference to the human eye compared to a OP3, not defending it just because I've purchased one but until you see the two resolutions compared side to side on a phone you can easily see that there's no difference.
Main reasons I've gone for it instead of the S7E are the audio quality in both the speaker and earphones is far better, as well as the best specs atm on a phone, and on top of that dash charging just looks too good to pass on, only downside is it says on my orders it will get dispatched on the 27th of December :'( haha

I got the same model and paid extra for the faster shipping! But got onto them yesterday as the delivery date is not good enough! The guy on live chat tried to fob me off saying its just waiting on being picked up from the delivery company but that's definitely a pile of guff I paid for it at 7am monday paid extra for fast shipping so I don't think it's unreasonable to think it would get shipped out that day not 4 days later as is what is expected right now! And not delivered over a week later yet! So definitely not happy about that! You pay extra for a blether service then you expect it end of story!

Hate the delivery times at the moment, only hope they're over exaggerating due to expecting a lot of orders, I have no idea why the 128gb version will take almost 5 weeks to dispatch, I would have thought most people would go for the 64gb because of the cheaper price tag. Anyway good luck with your purchase mate, hope we have good times with the phone once it arrives. :)

OP have been around for years not just with the OP3, although this phone does sort to be miles ahead of anything else they've produced, so it's odd how prices have suddenly shot up in the UK, I bought my OP3 for £309, Brexit bumped that up to £329, I feel O2 have largely influenced the jump to £399, when a jump to £349 or £369, would have been sufficient now OP is in the Samsung S7 price category w/o the customer service etc back up.

Don't know if that's true, even at £399 it's still cheaper than the standard S7, and to be fair it's far better than it, the S7e is it's real competition and that costs FAR more than the 3T even though the 3t literally just came out. I agree though, it's way too expensive for a Oneplus phone, it should have never exceeded £350 in my eyes, as soon as it passed it, it's no longer a 'budget' phone, however for £399 it's probably the best phone you can get atm.

EDIT: Just read your earlier comment stating you got the 128gb, glad you have, means my one shouldn't be too far away now! haha, but I did order at 10pm on the day of release, so hope I'm not too far back in the queue haha. Have fun with it mate! Let me know of how good it is :P

The device might be cheaper but you ain't buying the same quality.
Front cam still crap fixed focus.
People still complaining about Lte reception.
The rear camera is still the same so its crap.
Video recording still can not hold focus after 6 months.
Sub 1080p screen and pentile in 2016 lol average - poor in the real world.
Bug filled OS
I'd spend the extra £60-70 on the S7E or look towards Xiaomi and save myself over £100 for a device, at the worst the same from the leading Chinese OEM.
OnePlus are just mugging off the UK.
