Of course not, that is not a Home Cinema amp! Duh!

I have the CR515 UK and it is a stunning system. I expect this will be very similar. Very good price. Tempted to buy it for the bedroom.

You sure it comes with the speakers for that price? The Monitor Audio BR1 speakers sell for around £160 on their own.

Yes, thanks for highlighting that for me. However, the op states:

Just wondering why that was left in and where it was from.

Its actually not a great deal really, 14w x 2 is pretty poor and very limited in terms of performance

http://www.avforums.com/forums/hi-fi-systems-separates/1141881-onkyo-cr435-anyone-got-one-14w-pc-enough.html

I have 3 Micro Dab Systems, 2 x Yamaha CRX-M170 and an Onkyo which has a usb port too, they were all £150 each from Richer Sounds and all output 25 watts per channel.

I think people would complain on here if a microwave didn't come with HDMI.

You can buy an ipod dock but they're not cheap. Or you can do it the simple way with a 3.5mm to phono lead.

What about DAB+, and how would this unit stand in relation to it?

It isn't DAB+. But nobody's broadcasting in DAB+, nobody plans to, and there's no hint of migration coming from the regulator.

How far away do you sit? How sensitive are your speakers? How loud do you like your music?
Bear in mind that most high-quality loudspeakers will generate (at least) 88dB(SPL) of noise with 1 watt of input power, at 1kHz, at a distance of 1 meter. Admittedly this is continuous and you'll need more for real content - but I can't see why you'd need anything more than 10wpc for home use (unless a large room or partying), particularly if the amplifier performs in terms of current discharge.
The difference between 14w and 25w is 2.5dB. Considering a difference of 10dB is needed to produce an apparent doubling in noise level, the difference between 14w and 25w of output power is not as great as you might think (especially as there are factors other than output power to consider) .

That's not bad, but the official Onkyo one that allows the screen to display data and use your onkyo remote is loads more iirc.

Can't remember what I paid for my Onkyo iPod dock, but I know it was a lot more than £15.
The onscreen graphics are pretty basic though
