Only £9.99p extra for a 5 year Supercare.

The Onkyo DVBD507 is Onkyo's most advanced Blu-ray player to date.

The DVBD507 is a BD-Live (Profile 2.0) machine which means it offers a full interactive experience. Connect it to your home network system via the Ethernet socket and you'll be able to access special web sites that offer extra film content and interactive engagement.

The Onkyo DVBD507 also offers first-rate audio and video. The 12-Bit video DAC combines with the HDMI 1.3a HDMI socket (featuring x.v.Colour and Deep Colour compatibility) to provide stunning colour and superb detail. Upscaling to 1080p is available from any disc and there is the added bonus of 24fps output for Full-HD movies. As you'd expect, decoding of Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio 2 are also standard. Onkyo have an excellent reputation as a leading AV brand and are popular amongst enthusiasts and installers alike. With preset adjustments for sharpness, contrast, brightness, gamma correction, colour, black level and noise reduction you can tweak the settings of the DVBD507 to suit your exact requirements.

More unusual features that you might not find on some of the Onkyo's rivals include a dimmable display and parallel output via HDMI and component sockets. This can be useful if, for example, you use both a projector and conventional TV and don't want to have to switch between them.

Styled to match the latest Onkyo AV receivers, the DVBD507 is a smart looking player with a clean elegant front panel and a reassuringly solid feel.

For a mid-range Blu-ray player that offers more to the enthusiast than most new HUKD members understand, the Onkyo DVBD507 punches above its weight.

Hi
Thanks for posting. I have added an image to your post.
This is a link, made by rayman, which explains how to add images in great detail. It’s worth taking a look at if you are going to post more deals in future : - http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/339941/how-to-post-and-host-images-for-thr/

The PS3 is one of the few blu ray players that you can update easily, last update done last night and now 3D ready
#18
i never knew onkyo made blu ray players. Heat Added if it is as good as their amps
#19
If I wanted a BLUray player I'd def go for it.

Usual "bait" stock from Richer Sounds these days. They seldom do a decent deal on which they are carrying substantial, and internet orderable, stock.

Shame really as I have bought a lot of stuff there over the years - my tv from there was my introduction to HotUKdeals.
#21
Lol loughboro guy is like butters on south park everyone remembers him but not necessarily the coolest cat In the gang lol
#22
Stock checker on website doesn't even list my store. Does that mean they don't have it in stock or that I got to ring up?

Now now. I got an Onkyo 1007 AV-AMP from them recently. And they got me a replacement as it had a problem.

I have a PS3 and a standalone Panasonic player - PS3 wins hands down. The only downside is the lack of a time display on the front.

I agree, it seems stuff like this is to get you into the shop to sell you overpriced cables.

How many do they have (that's rhetorical)? Freezing deal because we're on the Internet and I can't buy it on the Internet. Useless.

Nice bit of kit but there's a lot of good deals on Sonys at the moment (which you can actually buy (you know, like give them cash and they give you goods in exchange -bit old-fashioned that concept but I find it still works very well) which should steer people away from this 'deal' nicely.
#34
Fujioka: Many deals on here are 'in store only'. I have even seen many deals that were available in 1 store in the country only. This site is not only for internet shoppers, you know.

I purchased this player for £120 from Currys about 6 month ago it was very slow compared to other players ive used hence me returning it and going for an lg which also played mkv. There is a firmware disc out there you can download to make the onkyo multiregional for dvd playback. One of the reasons i initially purchased the onkyo was to match my onkyo receiver and for the dvd buttons to work on the remote which it didnt i got a refund ok id sooner pay the extra £30 and buy a newer lg or sony rather than this basic onkyo blu ray player
#38
isn't onkyo the 2nd level of development for onyx in pokemon?

Anyway seems a good price for a decent blu-ray player, are they likely to go down in price again anytime soon as my parents really should upgrade their system but blurays cost a mint to buy still
#39
Damn , was tempted but none near me :(

I have on Onkyo home cinema , and rocks the pants off everything else ive heard :)
