This Item was out of stock for some time, it is now back in stock, and i have just got Richer sounds to Price match it, for £230 I collected Today.

This is a great entry level AV set up, the only bad point is the passive sub, meaning you wont be able to upgrade the sub and it is powered by the amp itself. But if you want a good entry level set up then this is the one for you.

The Onkyo HT-S3305B 3D-Ready 5.1Ch AV Receiver with Speakers is jam-packed with the latest technology and doesn't cost the earth. Three HDMI 1.4 inputs let you hook up everything from Blu-ray player to games console to digital Freeview box, and output all of them via a single cable to your HD monitor. The receiver also supports convenient Audio Return, further cutting down on cable clutter. And don't forget the inclusion of the HTP-338 5.1-Channel Home Cinema Speaker System, for thrilling and immersive sound output!

That's just the beginning of the features included in the HT-S3305B package, which supports lossless HD Dolby and DTS audio formats, a handy on-screen display for simple and intuitive adjustment of your settings, a universal port for peripheral connections, four gaming audio modes, and a convenient and easy-to-use remote control that gives you complete command of this system.

Enjoy high-end home cinema at entry-level prices with the versatile and powerful HT-S3305B 3D-Ready 5.1Ch AV Receiver with Speakers from Onkyo!

Absolutely. Give the money to a deserving company with quality Customer Service.
Pixmania are crap.

pixmania = cold deal.
Richer Sounds+pricematch pixmania = hot deal.

Can I ask how Richer Sounds price matching works? I have rung them and reserved one and they have said to print out the page witht heprice on from pixmania and bring it with me. What happens if the pixmania deal runs out in the meantime? Do I need to pick it up from Richer Sounds before the pixmania deal expires?
#10
They can check it on there internet, I phoned and they checked it while i was on the phone and gave me there best price, even tho the guy sounded a little be annoyed

Will this work with a SKY HD box? We only have one HDMI socket on the TV so we need to be able to plug everything into this.

Yes, You plug everything into this, digibox, bluray, psx, xbox ect, then you have one hdmi running from the amp to the TV, i dont know about sky but for virgin i have to use an optical cable to get 5.1

Does anyone know if this has a throughtput for the HDMI. I want to connect my sky hd through it but would like the option of using the TV's sound for watching news etc and not have to turn this set up on wasting energy/cash unless its the footy/blu rays

Thanks

How much for an optical cable!!
What's wrong with one from poundland - it's a digital signal!
#27
Is this going to be a better option than the onkyo 2.1 hdx22hdx setup? I don't need any more inputs other than tv and blu-ray.
#28
Rather get the logitech Z5500
#29
Who's Sony?
#30
The site shows that its £199 just now, so why did you pay £230?

Why does the title still say £199?
#35
I didnt know you had to include the delivery charge in the title, i just thought you had to post the price of the product.
#36
Fast Delivery seems to be the only option available to me @£37.50!!
#37
£30 or £37.50 for delivery, muhahaha what a joke of a price. I've sent heavier and larger items than that via mail and its not cost that much.

I now remember why you should stay away from Pixmania.
#38
You do know that Sony is only £20 more..................

Exactly who's Onkyo anyway..........
#40
it says 37.50 because they add a loyalty thing which costs £11 odd, just delete it and it drops off the price
