  Good receiver but if the Network functionailty isn't needed it doesn't add much to the discontinued 608 that can be picked up for around £250-£300 now

  I subscribe to Napster and so having this built into the amp would save me having to run a computer through it. There is also some decent internet radio stations out there also

  Energy efficiency here so not looking at a HTPC, I am a Last.fm subscriber and either will use my 4 year old PCH or buy this model to listen.

  
  
  My HTPC uses 25-30w max. (Acer Revo) A lot less than my amp.
