Seems the cheapest its been.

Yes, They're re badged Alba aren't they?.
Not had the chance to connect or test this fully but there are a decent amount of set-up options & audio output modes but it does run noticeable warmer than my previous Yamaha. Even with the amp turned on & nothing running through it gets fairly warm. Shouldn't be an issue if there is enough space for ventilation.
The HDMI pass-thru facility does not function as an HDMI switch. So when receiver is in stand-by it will pass-thru the last active source through to the TV. If you do activate HDMI pass-thru the receiver also runs warm when in stand-by.
For anyone wanting to connect a LG BH200 Superblue blu-ray/HD DVD combi player to this Onkyo there is a HDMI handshaking issue with certain firmware on the LG which causes problems with bitstreamed DolbyDigital Plus audio from HD DVD discs when hooked up to this Onkyo. Recent firmware may have addressed this problem.
