It seems odd for a Yoghurt company to be making electronic goods! What next, Eden Vale netbooks?

Google translate facility might be useful.
Once you have added the product to your basket, you need to figure out how to check out :) - find your way out.

Stopped being funny? After a day you say?? This one will run forever - it's freshness and longevity assured by stiff new AV experts each and every time talking down their noses to those peasants who dare to write that a Sony is better. Their condescending replies make this perhaps even funnier each time someone posts it.

Still funny...now walk away and find a sony thread

The yamaha 667 and pioneer 920 can be had for similar or cheaper and are better all rounders, The onkyo struggles with music, great if just for home theatre though.

And you are forgetting the category of people with a miniscule sense of humour who laughed at him in the first place.
I imagine that hamsters, budgies and even dead gerbils have a better sense of humour than people in this category.

Got an Onkyo. Brilliant. Don't knock what you don't know.

Any chance people could leave some comments about the receiver itself. Thank you. ;)

This one's black

Onkyo is not a German make. It is a famous Japanese make and generally considered to be better than Sony. I would put Onkyo on par with Pioneer / Denon / Yamaha amps.

Simple review..a great amp for home cinema..movies..however not too hot for music. If you want a amp that is good for music listening then go elsewhere and try to find an amp matched to your speakers. Google will help you.

That's a lot of acronyms in the title. oO
#35
Would this amp sound good with harmon kardon hkts11 speakers?
#36
I'm gutted I paid £500'for yamaha 667 6 months ago and now all those in price bracket are much much cheaper.

The yamaha I have is great amp though
#37
I bought the TXSR 578 3 months ago and seriously considerd the 608 but the price difference of nearly £100 for extra's I didn't really need made me buy the 578. Excellent receiver though. This is a bargain!

please be aware if you buy from Amazon Germany and its got any faults you will have to courier it back at your own expense which is going to be very costly as Germany never has any cheap shipping, twice i have had to send stuff back to Germany now and although its a good buy i would bare this in mind. Unless of course the onkyo have a uk based support centre and it could be returned back there?
#39
Great price. Paid £439 at Richer Sounds a month ago though I did get a free Ipod dock with it (Sold on fleabay for £50!)
#40
...and being an Onkyo it will have faults :)
