I've seen some good offers previously from onlinecloudstore, but this seems to be pretty good. Various options available from £9.99 per year, and considering the icloud is free for 5GB then £14 for 10…

I've seen other providers, including skydrive & dropbox etc, and the only reason to post this is because a) it's unlimited storage and b) it's simple to use. If you were backing up Blurays, then your options run out very quickly.

I appreciate that you can combine multiple providers, but why bother when it works out to about 80p per month for unlimited backup

Don't forget 25GB Skydrive (as mentioned above), 50GB free box.net if you sign up via any iOS app (no need to use the iOS device to access thereafter) and 2GB free Dropbox. That combo does me fine. Gladinet Desktop alongside the Dropbox client helps pull it all together along with Google Docs.

I could see myself paying for a service if I needed more storage but the above may suit some better.

Thanks for the heads up ob Box i have just signed up on my Ipad

i personally think dropbox is a better solution. Synching between multiple systems.. And you can get up to 18.8gb free (or pay a guy £10 on ebay to do it for you)
Yes but what about the people that own the site, surely they can access all my info?

As far as I have seen, they can't and if you have files that you don't want anyone to see then don't back them up.

If however, you have a lot of music, video etc, then the cost of this compared to conventional backup is a no brainer. I have been using this provider for the last 6 months and it seems to offer the similar services as other providers at a better price.

I only posted it as a deal, as I'm not qualified to discuss the merits of cloud based storage. As cloud storage goes it appears to be a very good deal.
