No Only Fools And Horses releases on DVD are uncut, there are scenes that are deemed politically incorrect these days that have been removed.

Note, this is the complete series boxset, not the complete boxset (as in having all of the christmas and other one off specials)

As far as I know, all variations of 'Fools on DVD format have some minor cuts - mainly due to music royalty issues that the BBC couldn't be bothered to resolve. Still in my opinion there don't really spoil the enjoyment at all, and there is only one episode where I even noticed a significant cut - in the Jolly Boys' Outing episode. However that isn't included in this set anyway as it doesn't include most of the Christmas specials - for the proper complete set you need the one with the leopard-skin pattern on the box.

Not sure if there'll be a blu-ray release which would give the beeb the option to restore the cuts again. That's probably just wishful thinking!

better off buying the complete lot from tesco for 56 quid. would probably amount to the same when buying the specials individually anyway

I agree with Peterjmay, your better off buying the Only Fools And Horses - Complete Series And Specials with the voucher it works out at £48 something. But i've noticed they keep changing the price back to £73.47 a lot. It was £56 something yesterday just checked now it's back up to £73.47. :(

Quite why John Sullivan took such an axe to "A Royal Flush" is beyond me.Whole scenes and lines cut for no apparent reason.
I still have an early Vhs copy, which I couldnt copy to disc, eventually found an early TV broadcast on tape which I have now copied to DVD,such are the cuts made to the version on the full box set.

There is no uncut released boxset for OFAH.
But i think the only way you can get uncut ones is to find a magazine collection that was available years ago.
To be honest, i haven't noticed any differences with the DVD boxsets compared to the uncut versions anyway. Although i'm not a hardcore fan so maybe that's why.

I have them all on dvd that are uncut, when they was shown on the tele I have put them all from vhs.

True fans of OFAH would not touch this set with a barge pole, I did have but gave it away.

I didn't think there was anyone left in the UK who didn't have virgin or sky, I'm sick to the back teeth of it its on everyday more than once I'm sure that channel only has OFAH to show, none the less good price for what is our best ever sitcom and its not Christmas without fools and horses on the box.

Soz Pol, I used to have Sky but ditched it. I get fewer channels than Freeview now but couldn't care less. I'll refrain from getting on my soapbox but people see Sky/Cable as a utility now rather than a luxury. Sorry you have too much OFAH.

I agree. I used the virtual assistant on their website looking to sign up. I 'spoke' with a member of staff and explained that I wouldn't telephone their 08 number (costs about 25p per minute on my mobile and likely to be a lengthy call). I explained that I was thinking of signing up to Sky but that if he couldn't do it for me, or give me a normal 01 number, I would buy a Freesat box. He said he couldn't do either and I said I would be buying a Freesat box, reply "NO WORRIES' and the conversation ended. If this is how they treat customers I won't ever return to them.
