The Clue is in the price as far as i'm concerned.......played it and personally ........well 7/10.........but as they say everyones a critic...........on a realistic note most of the reviews i've read are pretty accurate.......its good but not great.......just my pennies worth.......

Sorry folks, it's not this price by accident. New releases normally sell for more.

It's very buggy at the moment.

Fifa 10 sold for £25 on release day, Call of Duty: World at War sold for £25 on release day, many top selling games sell super cheap on release day to get your money.

I would say its this price, not because its a poor game but because it has a very Niche appeal, this is not a run and gun/arcade battlefield style game.
#9
Good price, but if you don't feel like waiting a few days pick it up at Asda for the same price:

Dont think amazon have changed carrier yet so may well be a delay with your order, my shopto preorder for this game is yet to appear so had to go into game to buy it today £37.99, will be refusing delivery at door when the shopto copy eventually turns up. Also concerned that my 2 super elite online reservations with game could be delayed so may cancel and try and get them in store.

Nonsense. This is the highest priced new game i've bought in a year. Operation Flashpoint is breaking into the console market. With COD:MW2 just around the corner it would be suicide to charge nearer the RRPs.

However yes there are a few bugs around at the moment according to the official website!

But then I played COD:WaW the other day and suffered bugs in SP and that's been out months.

Really? HAD to? :w00t:

Just how impatient are you!? And as posted above you could have picked it up from Asda for £11 less...

Still waiting for my TheHut order despatched Tuesday and another mate is awaiting his from elsewhere :-/ Royal Fail..
#13
surely the bugs can be fixed with a simple update in the near future?

Well lucky him, he will be pleased

I'd have gone for the "Sorry i've bought it but it's stuck in the post" option!

Edit: Is the forum playing up for anyone else? Every time I post it comes up saying invalid thread or something but if I hit back it reloads the thread and my post is there!

Why not get delivery from Shopto.net, then take the sealed copy into GAME with the receipt from GAME, and get a full refund? There is a 28-day returns policy on sealed stuff as far as I know? That way you've still got it at the cheaper price, just depends how much hassle it is to go to GAME in the next few weeks?

Also £27 in Asda.

Hey thanks for the tip about the credit card. Think I will sign up for one and use it to get CODMW2. That plus my £5 voucher I have should get the game price down to £25. Hopefully Amazon send out preorders on time. Perhaps I should pay for special delivery seeing as normal post seems to have stopped.

Its because some games don't have the seal around them, so GAME puts their own seal on it. So long as it was sealed as a normal game when you bought it, it'll be fine taking it back sealed from elsewhere, as there is nothing to tell them apart!

Took it to game, got my refund, they had loads of copies behind counter all sealed (without any game branding).I bought Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts for £7.49(pc world) with the difference in price from shopto.net so my son is pleased

I played my PS3 copy last night.... All I can say is its damn B U G G Y !!!

I'm sending my copy back to the shop i got it from

This game doesn't come close to Arma 2 like everyone expected it too...no where near it!

I was gutted, its like the developers have just risked shipping it without a proper beta test, especially on-line testing trials.

Nearly everyone i spoke to last night on PSN were complaining about the bugs!! :?

Up to £34.96 now, good while it lasted
