saw this yesterday when I was looking for the parts for a decent HTPC. This will be perfect for a Mini-ITX system. Great price.

Google is your friend. I haven't looked, but I believe Cyberlink to a software package. If that one isn't free, there are others out there if you search. A current program you have may support it.

EDIT: http://www.cyberlink.com/products/powerdvd/overview_en_GB.html - but it does cost money, or you can have a free trial. I think you can get other free players with free codecs, someone else may know more than me, I've never tried. I have just bought a retail Blu-Ray drive myself for £55 from Liteon as I'm about to custom make my first PC!! That one came with Cyberlink I think, I hope its not just a trial!!

Videolan plays loads of formats and its FREE!

HD (High Definition) codecs support such as AES3, TrueHD, Real Video 3/4.0 and Blu-Ray Linear PCM as well as new formats such as Raw Dirac, M2TS and many more.

What if your TFT is not hdcp compliant?
Is there a way around that yet?

Other than ripping the movies to the hard disk and playing them from there, I am afraid not.

I just have a portable 250GB usb HD for my laptop that I rip my bluray movies to anyway.

Yes, try SlySoft AnyDVD HD

"Watch movies over digital display connection, without HDCP-compliant graphics card and without HDCP-compliant display."

Run this on your system to make sure it can handle Bluray before splashing out on a drive
