good deal, hot vote in my books, any idea on reliabilty or is that a stupid question considering the price?
#4
i would think it would be quite poor for the price, but the phone does look a bit robust so who knows

Voted cold because I already have a phone.

Too expensive.. :-D

Seriously, voted hot, this would be ideal as a standby if you use DECT Phones and have a power cut.;-)

excellent advice - been there myself and was absolutely stuffed to accept incoming calls on a landline that would only work if mains power was available. That comment alone deserves rep.

Bought one of these last week for a spare (need one if you ever have a fault on your line, BT ask you to plug in another phone to test the line). Doesn't look cheap, great as a standby.

I have one of these phones which I picked up about 3 months ago from Argos for £2.99 - was going to buy a cheapo Binatone for about £5, when I saw these stacked in an open display for immediate pickup and payment. Yes, it is a basic phone but then that is all I wanted for the bedroom. The ear-speaker is clear sounding, the rubbery buttons are OK and the overall construction feels solid, not cheap. There is a switch on the underside for the ringer volume (very quiet or very loud!). Can't complain for the price :)

Voted hot ..

VOTED HOT FOR SAME REASON - With one of these you chat, chat, chat and not notice that you're sitting in the dark ;-)
