Unless you are very very poor, this is not a very good deal. For £300 you can get a really good Dell with a 17" or 19" screen, 1 gb memory, Vista, decent HD, etc. Even XP does not run properly with 256 MB. I upgraded all my office's XP's to 768 Mb to get reliable performance just using Office.

Its over 5 year old technology, unknown supplier, etc etc.

Not for me, but thanks!

Didn't last long!!

your pc should run like a snail with 256 ram for xp and a sempron

id avoid and add a little more for a quicker spec

For simple wordprocessing this should be more than adequate. Windows XP will run just fine on 256MB of RAM. Just don't expect to play any games made in the last 3 years on it.

While it is pretty amazing to get a PC and printer for £150, just a warning to those considering buying this.

I realise that many people will buy this so this kids can muck about on a real PC, but just a warning.

The TFT monitor 15". This is smaller than most laptops and using a 15" monitor will become a strain after a while.

The Sempron processor is about as slow as you can get nowadays, although if it had more memory it may run UK.

But this has only 256Mb of memory, barely enough for Windows XP.

Remember the graphics are going to take some of this (64Mb) so you will be running XP on less than 200Mb, which will be painful.

It may seem a bargain, but if you finish up adding more memory, and a bigger monitor, it could well finish up costing you over a £100 more.

May be better to add the £100 now and buy a PC for £250 in the first place.

Please dont say "what do you expect for the money". I did say it was an amazing deal for £150, just be aware what you are getting.

you said it yourself, you have only just upgraded your Office PC's. You'd never subject this to the daily abuse that occurs to PC's at work. However, at home it could have been a cracking little package for internet, studies etc.

Shame its just dipped out of stock.

lol thats an overstatement.

OK for the money but like others have said, its probably better to pay extra for something a bit quicker.
