it states that if you wish to add different voucher then it will cancel the 3 for 2.

The 10% wouldnt work
#5
also ridiculously hot even without it!
#6
Wow cheers.. Ordering 3

thanks op

Nice! I usually use bulkpowders and 5kg for flavoured is nearly £60. This is even better.

Never used Optimum before, it's always too expensive for what it is but can finally try it now. Thanks OP!
#9
Haaang on, I'm clearly half asleep. Buying 2 of these would be £92.60 to get the third free, =6.81kg of protein.

I'll stick with bulkpowders thanks, but still a saving for others who normally pay full price for ON

I don't understand why £46.30 is a 'sale' for 2,2KG...

http://www.matrix-nutrition.co.uk/buy.cfm/whey-protein/lean-whey-matrix/79/no/90216

Unless you are on super low carb, this is a whey better deal. They used to be really cheap, I bought my last two for £45 (over a year ago).

Contains soy protein.

You can not compare that to gold standard.

It is advisable that you alternate between whey protein manufacturers. Don't stay on one for two long.
The reason being your protein cells get accustomed to a particular product and the effect on muscle growth is reduced.

Lmao April fools isn't until Tuesday, what a load of nonsense.
#17
Hmm cheap for the brand but not for whey protein in general, at myprotein you can get 5kg of cookies and cream with discount code cook15 for £50.60 delivered lplus add a £1.99 shaker to get delivery for free instead of £1.99, so under £100 for 10kg.

Gonna vote cold because of this line.

Is everything on the site 3 for 2? 3 tubs of usn anabolic for £104 is a good price.

Some sort of joke?

Protein cells accustomed to amino acids? Ha!

If you don't mind, could give me a better comparison/explanation as why ON Gold is better than Matrix Lean? Thanks :)
#24
This is one of the best protein powders on te market anywhere, normally costs between £40-£45 a tub. To those people moaning saying this or that is cheaper for more, yes maybe cheaper but more than likely a lot lower in quality and poorer protein such as no isolate. Go onto any bodybuilding or fitness website or protein shop and ask about this and they will say its top rated.

Do a search on google, Soy protein is a very poor substitute.
The other great thing about the on gold is that if your lactose intolerant it wont annoy your guts,
excellent price
heat added.

Loving the comment about your muscles getting used to certain types of protein, brilliant! if only it had been delayed till april 1st.
#26
Avoid chocolate flavour protein, less protein per serving
#27
What are the best flavours to get? Taste wise
#28
I have mint chocolate which is delish , shame they don't seem to sell it on the website above though!

The other great thing about the on gold is that if your lactose intolerant it wont annoy your guts,

That applies to all whey protein powders, so that's not exactly a selling point, here.
And soy protein, is slower to digest BUT, when taking a protein powder last thing at night, a slow digesting protein may be better...eg, soy protein.

Incidentally, looking around at pricing, Soy protein appears to be considerably more expensive than whey protein.

Hot! And thanks..

Syntha 6, 2.2kg normally costs me £44 now £30 each..saved aprox £45...

Great offer...so tempted to buy another 3.

Nothing to do with quality, it depends where the protein is coming from which then turns into -> amino acids.

That's all it is, chicken, beef, whey, it's all amino acids, and that's what our body uses to eventually build tissue.

The aminos in beef for example, are totally different to those in chicken.

If only all Whey was easy on us lactose sufferers. I tried 9 different brands before finding this stuff. My insides were being slowly tortured before. Isolate is the key word. If i wasn't so sensitive would i spend this amount on protein....no. there is cheaper available.

Awesome find, thanks! Reviews for the company look at little hit and miss (http://www.reviewcentre.com/reviews105977.html) but if you pay by PayPal then there's nothing to worry about.

Honestly? Try them out. Whatever WORKS BEST FOR YOU, not for these people who go by what 'bodybuilding.com' etc say is the best.

I have used quite a few types of protein, some good, some bad, some reaaaaal bad! *cough* Maximuscle *cough*

My favourite is Sci-MX but it's too expensive for me and a very close second is Matrix. I'm sure others will say differently but this is indeed my opinion.

The only point I would encourage is avoiding Maximuscle. I was given a 1KG tub for free, tried it a couple of time and it was just disgusting.

I decided to do a review on it to sum it up:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hgd2zo2KQs8

Also, avoid anything that says serving size 150g or anything stupid like that...unless you're mega bulking or can't afford food.

How long will one tub of this last is it a month ?,
I only weight train 2-3 times a week will whey benefit me in building lean muscle or would i be have to be lifting more often for it to be worth while ? Thanks
#37
This is a smoking hot deal! I've used optimum and it tastes great, really good protein too, if you're looking to buy soon then definitely get this! Has a good date on it too, so will last until next year I imagine

Trial and error. I don't actually take any supplement at the moment. I am getting enough protein from food. Protein powder is extremely over-marketed..
#39
MyProtein's impact whey is currently £46.79 for 5kg.

So two 2.27kg tubs of this gold standard for works out as £61.24 for 4.54kg. Even with 4 quid delivery at myprotein that's a no brainer.

And before anyone starts, myprotein is excellent quality, been using them for years and I look ****ing great. I'd really like someone to demonstrate what's so great about this gold standard to justify the extra expense.

Cold from me I'm afraid.
