Plenty in Aberdeen.

This is more for business or classroom presentations, not for watching tv on. It's also 4x3 ratio.

It is more for that use however my family think its immense - so much so that i haven't bought my 55ks7000 yet - cos the family like the projector so much and imo the 4:3 thing only is an issue when streaming from the pc screen...I've got KODI from firestick and chromecast as well ;)

If the family likes the projector so much your next step isn't a TV, it's a better projector. I'm waiting for a deal to come round on something better than my Optoma HD141X but with the same light cannon abilities.

We just use it for the movies mostly (shh... and x-factor) but i still want my tv for normal tv and gaming. Just installed the projector today and doing the wiring in. Plenty of scope for change as we are changing the lounge decor and have no floor yet lol

For normal TV we use a freesat receiver (freeview sucks a little at our place) hooked up to the receiver (amplifier for speakers + like 7 HDMI inputs to 1 output), the receiver's hooked up to big speakers at the front and the projector at the rear. Projects a 130" display and is absolutely great for gaming. If you're wiring the projector in somewhere you're doing it better than us though, ours is just sat on what might be a bedside table and projecting on the wall.

Bought and returned today, not so much because of the resolution, i knew it was 800 x 600. i was thinking that I could get something cheap and cheerful for the kids to game with but the picture quality is appalling, looks very grainy and garish. if you are prone to rainbows (the flashes of colour that you get when you have dlp projectors) they are bad enough on this to make you feel queasy. As said above this is more of a business pj rather than movies, hence the brightness and 4:3 format rather than 16:9. If you are happy with it fine but if you buy a full hd, or even a 720p pj that is designed for home cinema use you'll see a marked difference between those and this one.

Got this yesterday, had seen it a couple of weeks ago at £125 so glad i hadn't jumped in. Despite the low resolution i found the picture very watchable at 85" in the bedroom cant wait to get it properly set up and try some emulators on my android box, old consoles were 4:3 so should be great. Had to order a screen and bracket of ebay so add £50 to the price.
