The magic of the DV11 digital video projector is that it's equipped for your ? big screen home cinema expectations and a lot more. Gaming, music, watching television and viewing photos - these are just a handful of activities to be enjoyed from Optoma's latest MovieTime.

Here's a device tuned to your leisure choices that's amazingly easy to use. To set up your movie theatre at home only requires you insert a DVD into its on-board player. I find it ridiculous that you can advertise something as HD ready which has such a low resolution.
They should have a different slogan for devices that down-scale a HD signal:

"HD No-More - This device is fully capable of losing the benefits of HD whilst trying to pull the wool over your eyes.”

I haven’t voted but just felt like a rant on the HD Ready BS. (Ready to Kill your HD :w00t:)

If this only outputs 480p how can it be HD ready?

I'm guessing the "HD Ready" thing means it can ACCEPT HD signals, it just downscales them.
Bit of a joke to be honest, you can get projectors about as good as this for 1/3 of the price.
Sorry, but cold for me.

It's not so much that it's not HD, it's that it says it is when it's clearly not. Built in DVD and speakers is nice, but that doesn't really justify the markup.
I'm sure it does what it was designed to do very well, but it's incredibly misleading and overpriced in my opinion.
But still, if it's a genuinely good deal then the masses will vote it hot =)

Hi all, I'm new to the forums but joined when I saw this great deal, thanks OP :)

Just wondering if people are still waiting for their "free" subwoofer. Mine's been on "order placed" for ages now. Did everyone have to wait long?
