I'm intrigued.

What's a 5 year colour guarantee?

Is that as opposed to a black-and-white guarantee?

The bulb may last 5-10 years but the colour/brightness will start to fade maybe a few years before then, hence the guarantee :p

True, but has dropped in price by £30 so deal is valid.

how is 329.99 opposed to 299.99 the same post? If anything you can expire the older post...

I know what you mean, cheapest i can find a HD Projector is like £400 but its only 720p :x

This is still great fun for the kids to watch a movie on or if the footballs on.

I suppose you could even use it as your main telly...

Hmm - comes with a backpack so designed to be portable - but then lugging round an 84" screen will rather reduce the portability I'd have thought?

No mention of lumens and bulb hours/cost?

I would guess 3000 lumens :whistling:

Pay a few bucks more and get an LED based projector, never worry about replacing bulds. Lumens maybe lower but you can take it anywhere. Cold.

How does your "pay a few bucks more for an LED" make this cold??????

At £299 for a projector and 82" screen, this deal is HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Translation "Get something else instead which is different, and has a different purpose, and works differently, and is more expensive, because THAT would be hot."

What kind of logic were you applying to that one, Sherlock?

The reviews point this projector to be more suited for Wii and states low audio quality and not supporting widescreen. Good for this price though but would wait a little more for a HD projector (prices seem to be going down)
thanks for the deal

I've got the Gametime 7000 (the HD version of this one) and it's an awesome piece of kit, however it costs around another £200. If you're not too bothered about HD, then this with the screen is a fantastic deal. Previous to me buying the 7000 I had a much lower spec projector than even this one and even with that people were gobsmacked when they saw my 360 or a movie being played on it. I'd say if you're thinking about getting a projector, but not too sure that you want to part with too much money then get this, you won't regret it!!

720p DLP is more than adequate. I have a 720p Sharp DLP and at 92" it is fantastic with a superb cinematic quality to it from the DLP process. It's a bit like plasma to LCD in TVs, DLP is to LCD projectors. Sure there is 1080p but the difference when watching the film isn't as wide as you'd think (or pay for).
