Nice bright projector. A little noisy and it's DLP so if you are sensitive to rainbow effect beware.

I had the BenQ w1070 and it was a brilliant projector, would buy another if I had the money.

It is a little noisy but I did have mine hanging from the ceiling and we was sat underneath it.

check bulb prices before buying projectors, and bulb life. cost a fortune in schools, and teachers dont bother to turn them off....

i think rainbow effect depends on the person (i might be wrong though) , and generally people give positive feedback on that problem.

yea, then only think that puts it on second position for me is the little price difference and the trow rate is longer than optoma, i have a fixed distance and screen size which is 4.4 meter, and the max. screen i can use is 2.6m width, which works about 130" i guess, but the important thing i can not go above 2.6m wide screen and i can not place the projector anywhere more or less than 4.4m

yes, but generally all the brands except epson is reasonable, that is why even i like epson, it costs far more than the others

You are right. The rainbow effect is only seen by a minority of people, me included :) Mind you after a while the effect does reduce massively so I only see it on odd occasions. It is a great projector.

check out the review i found, really good, it made me think twice for the optoma, now i feel like benq 1070 but the brightness of the optoma, which give you to use it during daylight times, is still better than benq
