the link above now errors but if you go directly to website and search then add still works fine

Approx £200+ for a new bulb every 4,000 hours which is only 166 days if on 24 hours which I know it won't be, if used daily then a new bulb would be needed every year or two! I'd love a projector but it's just the bulb cost that kills it.

I believe you can use the 8% code instead of the 5% which makes it even cheaper.
code is SAVE8

Think you need to look into it a bit more.

A new lamp can be had for £130ish, and say you use it 3 hours a day, every single day of the year (which is unlikely), that's just over a 3.5 year lifespan.

Indeed you're right, using this code and Quidco brings the price down to £800. Bargain.

even better with the 8% - see now out of stock - so did anyone buy one and can comment on quality - sure these will be back in soon being a new projector

Well said, 3.5 years is impressive use and quite acccurate as I have been using the optoma HD65 and still going strong after daily use for 2 years. This new model is definitely on the buy list, ace value for money for 1080p res.
