Voted hot seems like a good deal
#12
Voted hot - good price.

Bit concerned about what the projector actually is ...seems to be a Dixons group exclusive, based on EP727. HD projector, but no listing for HDMI?
#13
has DVI-in if u want to buy one for me I'd be happy to take it off your hands
#14
where is the code? I used SALE25, it just gives 2.5% discount. How to get it down to £327?
#15
sorry were is the code cant see it thankx
#16
No HDMI on this? Looks a good price it if it has got HDMI.
#17
can anyone give me the code please
#18
Which code are people using, I can only find sale25.
#19
The only code I can think that may have worked was MIRROR25 but that has expired.

This one looks a better deal @ £100 cheaper (+5% quidco)

slightly lower res but the bulbs got an extra 1000 hours in it and those babies are expensive!
#21
Spec says it has a usb input. Anyone know if its usb 2 or whether it will play from a memory stick?

Only other input i see is s-video, which is poor by todays standards?

Quidco? How? I didn't think Dixons did Quidco anymore - if you search for Dixons on Quidco it only comes up with Dixons Entertainment (for DVDs, CDs, Books and Games - not hardware).

Can somebody answer the question regarding what code to use. I must be thick because the only one I can see is 2.5% off. Anyone help?

Its certainly cheap but it's not really in the same league I'm afraid. It doesn't have native 16:9 resolution so when viewing 16:9 source the resolution will be 800x450. Compared to 1280x720 that's not a slightly lower res!

Also note that projector bulb life is an average figure, there is no guarantee any particular unit will reach the stated life.

egg card will give 5% cash back. I did this last time I bought my HD65
#27
Can anybody help with the code pls.
#28
happy5 was still working for me just before xmas even though it was supposed to have expired. It gives 5% off. if you combine it with the egg card cashback you get 10%, unless someone has a different way.

Hey,

this is not listed as 'HD' as it is intended to be used as a multimedia presentation projector (hence the higher than usual brightness too). It will also lack a HDMI connection because of this too.

However, the fact it accepts 16:9 native is an advantage if you were to use it in a home theatre set up for example.

Personally, i'd stick another £50 in and get the Optoma HD700X which is a 720p HD projector with HDMI and component inputs (amongst others).

Can you still use it with HDMI to DVI adaptor or not???

The listing at Dixons website doesnot mention anything about VGA or DVI in, can anybody who recieved this projector pls confirm this?
