Oral-B 6000 3D toothbrush £14.97 reduced from £39.99.

4 heads for £6.99 @ Superdrug too if anyone needs!

Seems to come with 1 head, but is still by far the cheapest I have seen this model.
Dual speed 3D cleaning for sensitive areas
Up to 20,000 pulsations and 7,600 rotations per minute
Built-in pressure sensor stops pulsations if you're brushing too hard
2 minute quad timer helps you brush for the dentist recommended time
Rechargeable handle lasts up to 7 days between charges (cleaning twice a day for two minutes each session)

The Oral-B Professional Care 6000 rechargeable toothbrush combines a compact round brush head with a high-speed 3D pulsing action to help prevent and even reverse gum disease. While your brush's in-and-out pulsating movements (20,000 per minute) loosen plaque on and between your teeth, its oscillating rotations (7,600 per minute) will sweep it away. This brushing technology, pioneered by Oral-B is clinically proven to:

Remove significantly more plaque than an ordinary manual toothbrush
Improve the health of gums by reversing gingivitis
Remove stains
Help prevent gum disease, the leading cause of tooth loss
Work as gently on teeth and gums as a soft manual toothbrush.

The Oral-B Professional Care 6000 rechargeable toothbrush comes complete with a Precision Clean toothbrush head. These are perfect for ensuring a complete clean, as the round brush head surrounds each individual tooth.

Looks a good price, heat added, just a little note of warning, though: this brush apparently uses more expensive Pprecision Clean brush heads than the normal ones: current amazon price is £4 per brush head, as opposed to under £2 per head for the 'normal' Precision Clean heads, so this is likely to work out more expensive in the long run.

Still a good price for the electric toothbrush itself, though.

£6.99 for 4 heads here Superdrug
These use a variety of heads, I have one.

Me too, i use the cheapest precison brush heads i can find on the high street - they all work fine. DO NOT buy cheap off fleabay - they're usually fakes that fall apart after five minutes use.

Dentist recommended i start using an electric toothbrush ten years ago. He told me that if i carried on using a regular toothbrush, the left to right scrubbing action would result in major gum erosion problems. Best thing i ever did for my teeth and gums.

Sorry, Goose, I was clearly wrong by the looks of it. I was just going by a review on Amazon:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/product-reviews/B0019Z561I/ref=cm_cr_pr_hist_2?ie=UTF8&showViewpoints=0&filterBy=addTwoStar

Just goes to show you can't believe everything you read in Amazon reviews!

Please note that the Braun toothbrush head come in two model - EB17 (old) and EB20 (newer with more bristles). It might be worth buying the EB20 for 14.71 for 8 on Amazon than the cheaper+older ones from Superdrug or anywhere else.

By the way these electric toothbrushes are worthy investment as they do much better job. I got OralB Advance Triumph toothbrush (better/expensive model) and net is full of excellent review so no need to say more.
