can you use blackberry messenger on this even if it isn't on contract or connected to the internet?
Is this really over £200 sim free?
It's £89.95 at Carphone Warehouse (Link) plus £10 top-up on T-Mobile. Free Web and Email, and £5 Quidco, for those who prefer.
The Carphone Warehouse link is actually to the 8110 which lacks the possibly most useful feature of the 8120 and that is WIFI.

and its out of stock anyway.
Theres also a really awful deal on for anyone that gets this fone, save 1/3 on overpriced memory cards that work out even more expencive than supermarkets even after the discount.
Does the wifi option mean i don't need a data bundle to use it, also this is compatible with BBM right? And do the different hardwares have different features on BBM (specifically) or are the features the same for every phone model.
A lot of questions I know but all help is much appreciated.
is this phone unlocked?
where does it say wifi?

The Wifi means you can connect to any Wifi network for example your home router or a wireless hotspot and use the Internet, so as long as the Wifi access is free then you don't need any account. It's the same as using your laptop to connect to a Wifi network.

Regarding BBM and this phone, the following thread may help or you can search or post in the forum if not >
is this phone unlocked?

The phone should be locked and it's firmware branded by Orange. Orange phones usually are on payg. The phone will also have Orange decals on it.
you have to have the internet for BBM to work
could this be unlocked to use on my 3 pay as you go sim with 150mb free internet? if so would the data be used up really quickly, (i only use my 3 phone for facebook and twitter) but internet browser is really shoddy.
achually, i've just realised this is not a 3g phone.

New to this! I've just bought from Argos a Pearl 8120 phone. But I can't recieve picture messages on it! Does anyone know how to activate this function on this phone please? I've contacted Orange and they've given me free of charge an internet bundle package thing!

Any help would be most welcome

Many thanks
