Need to have a Hungarian XBOX Live account which is easy to create. If you look at deals often you may just as well keep it as silver as the amount of deals there is ridiculous.

http://marketplace.xbox.com/hu-HU/ - Link to Hungarian Marktplace

How to create a Hungarian XBOX Live account

Step 1: Create a Hungarian Microsoft account
Sign up for a Hungarian Hotmail account (@hotmail.hu) via: https://signup.live.com/signup.aspx?...kt=hu-hu&lic=1
Be sure to select location as Hungary

If you do this in Chrome you can automatically translate the page into English

Step 2:
Create a Hungarian Xbox Live account via https://live.xbox.com/hu-HU
using your Hungarian hotmail account. Again be sure to select location as Hungary.

Step 3: Using a Debit card to purchase games will not work so you need to buy some Microsoft Points, minimum 800 points card from online retailer or instore.
You can get some cheap points here:
http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/cheap-xbox-ps3-psn-points-subs-xbox360-ps3-psv-instant-delivery-1499627

Step 4: Download your new account to your Xbox via your Hotmail.hu login details and add the MS Points, it will ask for more details for your billing address, you can simply put whatever you want e.g "Name" "Street" "City" "12345" and "01999 999999" as it does not verify them.

Step 5: Search for/locate games that are on offer via the dashboard (or the Xbox Live Web marketplace if you prefer) while logged in as your Hungarian account and opt to pay via Microsoft points by pressing X on the purchase screen.

Step 6: Download and Enjoy

Current list of titles avaliable

Stupid question - but if you download the games via the Hungarian account, can you play the games on other accounts on the Xbox or is it just limited to the account that it's downloaded on?

SHould be limited to the account that downloaded it, unless both accounts are "active" on the same console at the same time. I.e. Log into the Hungarian user on controller 2.

Seems like a lot of effort just to play these games though. Portal is infinitely better on PC, and Crysis is a bit "meh". L4D is worth it though if you haven't got it already

I'm sorry but what you have just posted is a load of bull...

Create a hungarian silver account, top up with points download games.

Sign out , sign into your main UK account play game.

aslong as the account you purchased from is on the console , any tag on that console can play ;)

yes the 1200 microsoft points worked that were on offer from Microsoft store. I don't believe microsoft points are region locked anymore or if they are it is only certain denominations.

Aslong as you purchase points from a EU retailer then they will work on all EU marketplaces.

Game.co.uk - 800, 1200, 2100
CDkeys 800, 1200, 2100
simplyCDkeys 800, 1200, 2100

confirmed to work on hungarian marketplace, there seem's to be a problem redeeming 1600 microsoft point codes so buy 2 x 800 instead.

AGAIN 800 microsoft points code is the minimum you can redeem on a hungarian tag! no 2 x 400, has to be at least 800 in one code!
If a game is region locked and you are trying to buy outside that region you will get an error and no points will be taken

Just thought i'd post for the 50th time to stop people asking the same questions every new page in the thread :)

I share my hungarian tag with my son's xbox and mine, his xbox is disconnected from live and only connect to buy the kiddy games, i buy my games with the tag on mine, if both are connected at the same time it says gamertag associated to another console but still lets me download.

160 MSP for The Orange Box? That's ridiculous. Portal is worth more than that on it's own. If yo don't have it, buy it!

Stop putting all Hungarian deals on a HUKD page

why if they are available to Everyone in the UK (which is the whole point), beats tesco store specific deals any day of the week

even if they were removed there's plenty of other sites out there to use

Any chance of The Witcher 2 becoming cheaper on the Hungarian Marketplace? I've got 400 points left after purchasing Borderlands 2, I was holding out for The Witcher.

I know it's an oldie and not the greatest but Rockstar table tennis is 80 msp. Even for only an hour or 2 of fun, that's worth it.

Shame Xbox doesn't do bigger HDD's as I've nearly filled my 250GB with all these offers.

anyone got any decent words to say about crysis 3 and forza horizon. they look tasty but I'm tempted to hold back some points for tomorrow!

orange box is getting snapped up now.

Where do people go, when they want to buy 800 or 1200 points? Seems points over overpriced when bought in smaller amounts.

rockstar table tennis needs a VPN.

Sorry this may be a dumb question, but how can you tell if a game needs a vpn?

Does it go through the purchase stage but you can't download it/play it?

Like others don't wanna waste points.

Thanks.
