Team Fortress 2 is one of the most highly anticipated multiplayer games of this year - and Valve are offering it at a massively reduced price with this set. Includes:

- Half Life 2
- Half Life 2: Episode 1
- Half Life 2: Episode 2
- Portal
- Team Fortress 2

If you havent already got HL2(or even if you have), this is a steal!! I work it out at £24 from $44.95, including the charges my bank put on for paying in dollars.

So maybe this thread stands... Im sure I saw one specifically for the orange box but I may be going crazy... wouldnt be the first time :whistling: :giggle: :w00t:

this post stands but i would still rather have the orange box retail with cases, manuals etc for even cheaper.

Why would you need to pre-order from Steam?
#6
Don't forget the $7 tax on top of the price. Excellent price still though.

Pre-ordering has many benefits, you can pre-load the game and it'll be ready to play the very second it comes out. No waiting on the postman for it to arrive.

You also get to play the Team Fortress 2 beta from the 17th of this month until it comes out.

And... you get Peggle Extreme & a $5 dollar pre-order discount!

Amazing deal.

The Peggle Extreme is only a trial version :x

Shame because it's damn good, but not worth the $10 + Tax.

i cant find it on virgin online , can you please link it thanks

You have to wait until October 9th to be able to pay and play for just TF2.

Damn valve.... cashcows.
#16
Is the cheapest place to get this still online?
#17
My OH bought this through steam yesterday and works out at £29.48 after taxes etc , u can play the team fortress 2 beta this week if you pre order it through steam
#18
I'm playing TF2 right now and its wicked!

It should also be noted that if you own HL2 or HL2:ep1 then you don't lose out - Valve/steam give you 'invites' for the se games and you can send these to someone that doesnt have the game so they get it.

You also get a free ' peggle' game at the moment - which despite being from pop-cap and sounding rubbish is stuppidly addictive!

Voted hot - Mine worked out at £25 though via paypal.
