"Any good" Is that a genuine question or you having a laugh?

Seriously though not sure how well it's aged but so much awesome gaming in one package.

Serious, I played Blue Shift but that was about it.

I'm going to be in a serious minority here but I thought half life sucked and didn't hold up well. Portal was fun though

I didn't play it until about 2 years ago. I guess its probably worth just giving it a go if you've got it ready to install.

I was thinking about playing it again here but I know I'll never get round to it :D

Me too, by the time I'd actually played half life for the first time every game had done the whole physics thing and it wasn't as impressive. Portal was awesome though, worth it just for that

Half Life 1 and 2 are very highly regarded/reviewed in gaming's hall of fame. Don't know how well they would play/look now though since I havn't touched them in years. You guys are definitely minority.

Half-Life 2 is still fantastic (they really need to get it working in VR again), though the driving section has not aged so gracefully.

But, TR2. Overwatch fans should get on it.

Not on Xbox it isn't. Get it on PC and play it at 1080p 60fps with a proper mouse and keyboard.

Yep, but the standout game here is definitely Portal. Good collection, but £7 is more than the "impulse buy" level when I have these all on Steam, which is generally going to be the superior experience. I might take a quick look at eBay, though!

or 4K with Cinematic Mod (though I think it's worth playing unmodded first)

I agree Portal 1 and 2 are also two of the best regarded/reviewed games around. I wouldn't say portal is better than half life 1 or 2 (pc gamer awarded half life 2 the best pc game ever award) but definitely on par. I played on pc and that would be my recommended format for these games.

It's all really personal preference at this level - doubtless, all of the games collected together here are excellent, agreed.

Oh yes, but do bear in mind that Half-Life 2 has been (rightfully) toppled from the top of PCG's list now.

still got this in my cupboard. I loved half life 1 but even though I bought HL2 on both pc and console I've gone more than a hour or 2 into the game. No real reason why. Time I completed I think
