Could I plug an mp3 player into this and use it as a speaker for my lounge? Or do i need another separate amp to go with it?

This is a guitar amplifier. You could plug your MP3 player into it but the sound won't be great.

In what way? Too quiet? Or just generally poor?

Generally poor! Fine for guitar. But not for drums, vocals etc...

Nice find, I may have to order one of these!

this is a combo amp, meaning you've got built in power, but for connections you'll have to convert from the mini-jack (mp3 player) to a 1/4 inch instrument jack - meaning mono sound :-(
much cheaper alternatives out there for doing what you're doing. this doesn't seem like a blinding deal for a practise amp. I would go second hand

i bought one of these from these guys about 6 months ago.

more of a distorted 'rock' guitar kinda guy myself, and the distortion on this is more of a 'fuzz' but the clean tone just blew me away. definitely go for the reverb version.

straight out the box, for something so cheap (relative to the fact that they're standard amps cos £500+) i was very very impressed. And B'stock on my case, meant that the box had a tear in it. nothing more.

Thanks for the feedback, would have been cool to have an Orange amp instead of some ****** 2.1 PC speakers, but it's not to be.

How's about this for a wall of sound

Great price for this amp!

I have had this one for about 6 years now and still going strong, the clean sound is amazing for a practice amp.

Not sure i agree with the poster that said this only produces a 'fuzz' sound, you have to mess around with the dials a bit more and you can get a nice crunch out of it.

I find myself playing this amp more than my 100W Marshall so go and buy it!

This is the non reverb model for that price. The reverb model is £84.99 so this is a cracking price.

That's a different model, it comes without reverb. The model in this deal is £84.99 from imuso quite a lot more!

It's a decent saving I guess but not amazing when you factor in the delivery charge.

Why are you playing a guitar through PC speakers? You'll ruin them and might blow them up. If you need an amp for the guitar just buy a cheap practice amp from somewhere like ebay for about £20. I think they have cheap practice amps at places like ebuyer also.

Check the model numbers though to make sure that the one in the deal is the reverb model
15R Amp=Non Reverb?
Even though the details for it say that the 15R has reverb.

Would this be any good for playing a bass guitar through? Or is it going to sound awful and fry the thing?

You can but it's not a bassamp so yes it will sound ****.
#24

More to the point, putting basses through guitar amps isn't generally recommended because if you are not careful, particularly with smaller practice amps, you can blow 'em.

Some utterly bonkers people here, bass guitars and mp3 players through a GUITAR amp?!
#27
Out of stock at Nevada, but available for the same price HERE. Total comes to £73 delivered and not 'B grade'.
