#4
so is it 150 minutes any network any time

300 texts to send to any network

unlimited evening and weekend texts any network at any time?

30 Day Contract - Sim Only

What time does the evening texts start from and what time do they end?

£10 Vat included? Itimised billing free?

Does anyone know if this sim work okay in a (3) Nokia N95 8GB?

Im interested in this but thought id ask questions that some other people might want to know also as it doesnt give you too many details on their site.

Voted Hot!

Looks like a good deal - the T & C starts off by saying that the contract runs for a minimum term of 12 months - my eyes won't allow me to comb through the rest - is there a "get out free" for this?

found the T+C'S and had a good look through and think ive found most of the answers

VAT is already included

Just need to give 30 days notice to cancel

Most likely you will need to get your handset unlocked unless its an orange handset or it is already an unlocked and open handset.

For the unlimited texts its 7pm - 7am Monday to Friday and Weekends are 7pm Friday to 7am Monday

It states for the txt messages that -( Where included in the Plan, your text messages are for standard person to person text messages sent within the UK. They can be used at any time of the day.)

No mention of only texts to Orange so looks like all of it is any network anytime which is excellent.

found this in the T+C's about itemised billing - Itemised billing: Where a Service Plans does not include free itemised billing, this can be requested and will be chargeable. Itemised billing may be provided online.

Does that mean you get your bill through but no itemised billing and you are only charged if you request itemised billing? sounds like it, also it says itemised billing MAY be provided online.

What does MAY mean? Surely you can either view it online or you cant.

CS are amazingly poor.

These are the ones you have to deal with when you want to leave.

Occasionally you get someone who has a clue and is helpful, but the rest seem to treat it as a social club for village idiots.

HOT HOT HOT,,This is a great deal ,My GF has just ordered hers and she is keeping her PAYG orange number and i also enquired and was told that users from other networks(even PAYG) can keep their numbers if they ask their network for a PAC code,As for itemised billing online you just have to set up an online account and login to request youre billing,If anybody needs a new phone check out the Nokia 5310 at Argos for £99 no top up required,

Quidco requires you to have this for atleast 2 months before they validate your cashback.
banned#12
well.. quidco £30 cashbackkings is £50 lol
#13
CS is a fair point but surely if its just a 30 day contract you can cancel should you have any major issues?

I think what we should be looking at here and the question is

Will any other network give you 150 mins any net/any time, 300 texts any net/any time and unlimited texts evening and weekends on a 30 day sim only contract for £10

If the answer is No then surely this is a hot deal and excellent value.

why isnt this as hot?

why isnt this as hot?

#17
is it possbile to use both casback kings and quidco combined? iv only ever used quidco
#18
Thanks, I' ve been looking for an offer like this from Orange for a while, I took up the Racoon 10 for 225 minutes and 100 texts.
#19
Am going to take this for our 13 year old, keep her number and cancel when the cashback has run out! hot thanks.

hot, seems a good deal, thanks OP.
#23
Can you ONLY use the minutes and texts they give you?
#24
orange are one of the worst companies i have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. switched to them in jan as my new phone was orange locked and their customer services ****** me around for months and i never managed to get my account set up correctly. needless to say 6 months later i switched back to O2 and will never touch orange again
#25
I am already on orange PAYG and would like to switch to this dolphin one as I already spend at least £10 a month and get less out of it. Is it possible to keep my number and do so without any transition period?
#26
yes. orange is ****. customer service is an absolute joke, wasters.
what do u have to do to qualify for the £30/50 cashback?

Orange has improved over the last few years. I have been with Orange since they where first lunched in the UK. The customer service back then was excellent like every other company. Since the 2000's the customer service has gone down the drain.

BUT They have changed now, since may/june time the customer service has improved etc etc. Theres alot of changes coming to Orange which is benfiting all Orange customers.

Trust me Orange are not the same anymore, they want to keep customers, they want to help you.

can someone enlighten me on how the qudico and cashbacking works? I know what quidco is, but how many months do you need use it for before u get anything, and also what this cashbacking is?
#29
Someone on here said quidco requires you to keep the contract for at least two months but not sure where he/she got this info. Cashbacking (just search on google to find it) is a very similar cashback site. They take £5 annually from earnings just like quidco.

Thanks for the reply, does this mean you can use either quidco or cashbacking then?
banned#33
yes. cashbackkings pay you £50 while quidco pays £30
#34
hey sorry for more questions, with cashbacking do you know how long you have to keep the sim before you get the £50?
#35
The SIM ONLY section of the site is down so maybe they has withdrawn the offer.
#36
Excellent deal, can anyone confirm to check free mins left on Orange, is it still free on 150 option 1? Is it accurate/reliable as heard of problems in the past with wrong amounts given or service unavailable.
#37
Ok still not clear is it quidco and cash back or quidco OR cashback. if or why go for £30 instead of £50.Also how do you get the cashback can't see any where on site that tells you about it

do orange so any data bolt on type things?

I took on a free sim for a SPV M600 and tried and tried and tried to get a straight answer out of customer service (I wanted to access internet via GPRS).

They quoted 40p a MB for Orange World and similar (but couldn't define this) and everything else they insisted was dependent on the host (??!!) website charges - nonsense !

On Vodafone I think its about a £1 per megabyte data used. As I couldn't get a straight answer from Orange I lost confidence and haven't used the card since.

Good deal though.
#39
cashbackking is a another site doing the same thing as quidco therefore i dont think you will be able to do both their will nothing on orange site about the cashback as its a refferal you will need to goto either quidco or cashback first and click thru
#40
quidco is giving £50. I would not recommend to use both cashbackking and quidco as Orange (which is already c..p for quidco deals) may reject cashback.

Though £50 from Quidco is not bad. Hot-Hot deal.
