Not yet, but it's only been available since last Friday !
Anyone buying one should ask orange about their "phone fund". Orange give you £1 for every £10 you spend (or at least they did last year). I was able to get a San Francisco for £63 last year using that.

i knew a faster phone will be out in a few months but wanted the better camera and a flash and a bigger screen so opted for it.
i know it wont be everyones cup of tea but it should be a good little phone that has plenty of mods for it soon
This must be the biggest phone on sale today. There is no way I am going to carry that round with me.

Well when you compare it to it's size rival the Desire HD at 123 x 68 x 11.8 mm and 164g its certainly slimmer and lighter than the HTC phone.
As for the deal as soon as we get a unlock method I'll try and get one at this price but cant see Orange classing me as a customer as never even put the old Orange sim in my OSF, but will have to see.

Could you not start using the Orange SIM card on and off to start to build up a history of phone usage? :D

But needs urgent root. Can you imagine the Orange bloatware !

It's being worked on over at the Modaco Forum from what I understand. :D
Recently bought iPad 2 3G though - and haven't been using S2 as much, might sell off S2 for one of this...
Or is Android smart enough not to make much difference?

True could indeed try this. :)
ZTE are developing a phone based on a 1GHz Qualcomm ARMv7 instructions set module featuring Adreno 205 GPU and a 4.3" screen.
If this will be a direct replacement for the Skate we do not know and don't know if it will be a Orange exclusive in the UK. As for when its available who knows but a ZTE representative stated availability will be 'the holiday season', and by that I take it as just before xmas. But as the Skate is 2 months late who knows.
At only 200Mhz more, this isn't much better (although when rooted you'll be able to OC it, I have my SF running at 720Mhz as opposed to the 600Mhz stock speed).
I'll wait for the next one.
