Orange Monte Carlo (ZTE Skate) - £149.99 + £10 Top Up @ Orange £159.99
Cheaper than Amazon and Clove who are taking pre orders at £249.99 (sim free) and delivery mid September.
No doubt available online soon.
I am not sure this is a replacement for the San Francisco more a bigger brother..
Yes locked to Orange network but for how long as I am sure people with be working on this.
Orange have around 800 due to be delivered this week and it's on their matrix system.
I have asked for one to be put by and will pick it up tomorrow when it gets delivered.
I have asked a few other stores in Manchester and not everyone seems to be getting them and some stores are only getting one.

From my reading looks like this will be the case. Also, no Flash Support either.
Will build quality and reliability be any better than the San Francisco?
My SF flies in comparison to the original branded 2.1 OS it came with
Currently using a T-Mobile pulse, I take it this would be a significant step up in processing power and the number of apps you're able to install?
Should be availabe online from a week today (I'm told).
Be interesting if you can still get the £30 off for being an existing Orange customer ? (that's with Telesales btw, if it's still running not in store).

Do you have a source for this information as the official word from Orange is that the phone isn't on release until next week.

No, it's locked to Orange.
You mean the videos from February of a test unit? I have personally played with one of these devices in the last month and any issues with lag have long gone. Hopefully the addition of Orange customisations won't have slowed things down.

Thanks, I thought that being able to use the Orange network as a T-Mobile customer might mean sims were also interchangeable.
Went in to the Orange shop and asked he said it has been loaded into there Matrix system so I asked about stock and they were due 4 Sat morning with 800 being shipped. I rang a few other stores in Manchester to confirm.

They're still run as separate networks and phone locked to one won't work with the others sims.
All you can do is roam on one from the other.
Horribly well documented on this site
