Hi everyone,

I just thought I'd share this with you. It could well be that you know this information already, but some don't.

If you buy a £1.00 sim through Quidco you get £20 cashback, so that's £19 profit.

If you are on orange dolphin you don't just get free access to Facebook, Bebo and Myspace but to the whole of the internet.

I have had a sim since January and I confirm that I surf on my phone often and don't get charged. Just make sure you top up by £10 a month and you'll get 300 free sms and internet access. On orange website they say you can use up to 50mb a month. Not much but if you don't surf a lot just occasionally when you are out that should be enough.

For more info read: http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/65/33642936-orange-dolphin-plan-free-gprs.html

So if you top up £10 on dolphin you get:
300 sms a month to anyone
Free internet

The £10 on the account could be used to call other mobiles (so 50 minutes worth of calls), or choose orange magic numbers (20 p per call), in which case 50 calls. Or buy an extra, etc....

I'll believe it when I see it :whistling: - can't see Orange honouring this but it's worth a pop for a pound :)

Hi, obviously Orange expects you to use the sim, therefore pop £10 on it...Mine didn't track but I put in enquiry and after a month it's been validated....So just waiting it goes through, it takes time but hopefully will arrive.
#4
dont need the sim but for a quid is worth a punt to get the 20 quid in quidco

hot from me, not much to lose.
#5
hate to bring bad news but it does say its on the pay monthly sim not the pay as you go one, so good luck if you can get it validated
#6
Can't be right - surely Orange require you to top up by so much before they will pay out on cashback? There's got to be something in the small print that they will decline your cashback for whatever reason?
#7
Does anyone know if this does work on the PAY AS YOU GO SIMs??
#8
I've just ordered 1, I'll let you all know if it tracks. . .
#9
Ok can someone tell me how to pu a screenshot on here? so I can show you that it's been validated and they'll pay me by this month? It's obvious that you have to use the sim and put at leat a £5 on it, I don't think it'll go through if you don't use it, but you never know.
#10
Here you go hopefully it works:

Talking about quidco, are there any more good deals about, could do with some extra cash
#12
British gas, if you switch both fuels you get £70 (you are stuck in a contract though). Apparently they are the cheapest for us (used uswitch and moneysupermarket), so we went for it.
I was expecting we got less, but it tracked as £70.

Validated, not paid. Doesn't mean anything until it's paid.

Even then if more than a couple of people from here apply then they're gonna catch on to it.

Chance of receiving £20, 1%.
#16
Well i couldn't resist trying. I'll report back if it tracks.

Why is that? Can't understand really, I bought a sim and I have been using and topping up regurarly. Why shouldn't I be paid? Anyway money is due to go into account soon and let you know what will happen....

It's not an issue of whether you should or shouldn't be paid, it's an issue of whether they'll actually pay up. I expect this is for a monthly contract and they may not pay out when they realise it's only payg.

Good luck to you, even if you do get it I expect that if more than a couple of people apply they'll realise anyway so just because you get it doesn't mean anyone else will.

it says on quidco - £20 for paym sims cards - pay monthly not pay as u go
#20
fantastic deal dude. heated :)
#21
quidco is fraudulent, be warned!
#22
The Quidco page couldn't be clearer. £20 for buying a PAYG SIM.
From that point of view it has to be worth a punt at 97p.

I'd give this a 30% chance of success and therefore a great value bet (because that's what it is really)
#23
At the Orange online shop they have the latest mobile phones and a range of exclusive online pay monthly plans.

For genuine tracked transactions completed wholly online, you can earn:

£20 for PAYM SIM cards
£5 for PAYG Handset
£100 for monthly contract (per transaction, not per phone basis)
£100 for all PAYM phone contracts

--

Still worth a try I think though!

If it couldnt be clearer then you need your eyesight checking :? - it doesnt mention ANYTHING about PAYG SIM just PAYM sim.....

I hear Specsavers are doing good deals at the minute :w00t:

This what my Quidco is saying - Looks like the £20 is only avilable for a pay monthly SIM.

No cashback appears to be on offer for PAYG SIMs

**** should've read that properly - it's PAYM SIM card not PAYG SIM card.

surely, the deal must be expired, right???
#28
OP - can you edit the deal please??? this certainly ain't right............

It does say PAYM but it stil tracked - worth a 97pence punt regardless of wheter it does or doesn't work and what it says.

Somebody has got something wrong somewhere so we'll wait and see what happens but hopefully we'll get the 20 in Quidco.

Well my mistake, but I wonder if that's a typo? They refer to other deals as 'Pay Monthly' without abbreviating them, and I've never seen a monthly contract deal of any type referred to as PAYM.

Still worth a punt though...
#31
Correct me if I'm wrong:

There's a few people here who believe that this deal is "worth a punt" for £1. The Quidco offer IS NOT available on a £1 PAYG SIM.

Quidco says, "£20 for PAYM SIM cards". Then further down the page, "...subject to a two-month validation period from connection."
PAYM = Pay monthly SIM
The cheapest Orange PAYM SIM is £14.68 a month.
So, after your 2 month validation the SIM will have cost you £29.36.
Even if you get £20 cashback from Quidco you'll still be out of pocket by £9.36.

In my opinion the OP is very misleading and for that reason I'm voting this "deal" COLD!

Have I overlooked something?

hot, ordered, waiting... sometimes tracking would be slow, enquiry might needed.
thanks for this.
btw, why expired?

Read the post above yours and all the others in this thread...

This deal is not for PAYG sims so is not valid.
