Need to amend the price to £109 as you HAVE to buy £10 airtime as well.

Your not likely to get one this side of xmas from orange though.
#4
that was going to be my next question. is that a fact, have Orange confirmed no more stock before xmas then?
#5
Personally i didnt want to wait and see and hope. Play keep postponing theirs. This deal is no worse than this one http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/orange-san-francisco-android-2-1-wv/763425?page=1

and there seems to be plenty stock around, at least in the north east anyway.

Strange, my mum called up and bought 2 recently that she received today. Ordered Friday.

I have one reserved but think i'd prefer to get the Wildfire for a bit extra as my daughter likes using the camera and that where this phone falls down.

#10
I'd reserve at this price and check again tomorrow. Argos will honour a reservation made at a lower price if it goes up.

Check tomorrow it may have gone down

Good deal - handy if you have argos energy plus for extra 10%
need to be with Southern Electric etc ...
#12
What is that deal rmehta169?
#13
my play order (made in early nov) now put back to Jan 1st

cancelled.
no stock of these in any of my local argos, so looks like I'll end up being scalped by orange retail
#14
I guess that this is likely to have the TFT and not the OLED screen.
Can anyone confirm?
#15
OLED my friend...well i thought they where but just read there orange phones are now TFT??? think the original zte blades where different

Check about my phone under settings, if its b05 it's OLED.

Anyone had one from Argos confirm either way?
#18
Just reserved - this was a Best Buy in a test of Entry Level Android Phones in the Sunday Times last weekend.

yeah unfortunately that's made them even harder to get cheap. on the flipside, doesn't look like the ebay flippers are getting much more than £110 either..

Nope - cant even rely on that any more since over at Modaco people have had OLED's arrive with B08 now....

The only way to tell for sure is to check in the Dark - if the blacks are NOT seemingly backlit then it's an OLED, if they are(i.e. you can see the light) then it's TFT.
#21
Great if you can get an OLED

Hate this product baiting it's like when they release monitors for reviews with good panels then swap out the insides for all future models with inferior screens.

Great deal thanks.
#23
I just got one today literally 2 hours ago. £100 inc gift bag and £20 top up. Best of all it has an OLED screen. From the Orange store.

I honestly wouldnt get too hung on in this TFT/OLED debate.. its a great phone, regardless .. I have tested with for the phone for the past 2 days (that how long the battery lasted) and is very impressed (TFT).. I would get rid of the Orange rom before getting started, its more responsive and has less junk on it with a standard Android rom. (Im using bladeville.. ?)

They don't honour the reservation price.

Like an idiot I reserved one at the wrong store.

If anyone wants to get one, 055685 is the reservation number for a grey one at Huddersfield (Leeds road).

agreed I had a play both with the OLED and TFT there isn't much in it to be honest. Although the OLED does have more vivid colours the TFT from what I read should save battery life.

I got one from Orange last week - they did it for £79 (as an existing customer), including the £10 top up.
#39
I reserved the last one close to me
for my kid for christmas
I have one myself (oled)
very nice phones

This may be a stupid question, but can the forced £10 top up be put onto a current Orange sim card? as i dont want to change sim cards.
