Cos this is good deal and it's new.
if you don't like it, don't read it and don't post any comments. Simple like that.

New ZTE's will becoming out soon, so you may want to wait.

Is this phone locked or unlocked? Most of the CPW phones are unlocked, but the title says 'San Francisco from Orange', so may be locked to Orange. Any idea?

Well seeing as comments aren't there for just positive responses, I don't see your point. Its not 'new', there have been 2, (3?) of these in the past week, still active, one even cheaper via quidco.

Most usually are but the CPW page states...* This phone is locked to Orange network

It's a free unlock anyhow for it

Still lists as having the AMOLED screen... presumably this can't still be right?

On many Rom's the Market will bug if you use Wi-Fi rather than 3G for initial connection to Google when setting up phone. If you used Wi-Fi try reflashing Rom then using 3G first when setting phone up.

Jellyfish is great for this phone, everything seems to work very well.
#23
Does anyone know if this is available instore? thanks
#24
Wish they'd sell the white model.
#25
My sons have these phones and they say it is one of the best phones out there!

To all the people saying this isn't the same deal, technically it is. CPW own mobiles.co.uk, onestopphoneshop and e2save.

However, your best bet is looking at the Quidco rates. CPW isn't as good for Quidco.

Looks good spec. Hope it's cheap.

great phone but no flash on the camera really sucks.

can you use this phone with wi-fi only if you don't have a data package on your current contract? as I don't want to run up any charges and can use wi-fi at home and work no probs

Mobile phone camera's are a joke anyway. They need a decent sized, good quality lens to be any good; mobile phone tech in one of these would be a start:

If its (the Skate) under £200 I'll certainly sell my OLED San Francisco (now pretty rare) on eBay.

I've got one of these phones and it is decent but the battery lasts less than 24hrs even when the phones not been in use and left on stanby.

I tried to upgrade to android 2.2 but didn't get past the clockwork recovery as it kept showing 'waiting for device' from which I think means the driver isn't installed, ended up installing 3 different sets of drivers but it still showed as 'waiting for device'

I contacted the person who created the tutorial along with a few others that were having the same problem and the answer I got was chuck your i7 pc out the window. My point is don't just buy this phone thinking you will be able to upgrade flawlessly as there's been quite a few people with the same problems trying to upgrade

I dunno about this phone, but on my Galaxy you can set it only to update via wifi.
I don't think I had this option on my old HTC magic.

you can use wifi for you tube etc but from what I can remember, I couldn't get the android Market with wifi I had to use a mobile network.I ended up unlocking the phone which was easy enough then joined giffgaff which are doing 250mins, unlimited txts and data for £10 pay as you go I think after 31st march the minutes drop to 150 but txts and data remain unlimited and there is no fair useage on the datameaning it can be on all day and you won't be charged any extra.you can also port your existing number and as it's pay as u go there's no contract that your tied to.check out giffgaff.com(or co.uk) and look at the goodybahs,if u do decide to go with giffgaff make sure you download the giffgaff app from the android marketplace which will set up your network settings.hope this helps
