I bought one of these last year for £515 from LBS. I think Merlin were doing them cheaper at that time, but I prefer to support LBS as long as it doesn't cost too much. Generally very pleased with bike, but can't spend more than 80 mins in the saddle comfortably.

You'd need to be 6'4" to go for the 60cm frame.

80 minutes? What give you trouble after that? Have you been back to the shop to seek their help in sorting that?

If it's a saddle, they may be able to recommend one better suited to your anatomy. If it's aches and pains, they should be able to help you refine your riding position to get the best from your bike (they really ought to have started this before you left with it).

Not a bad looking entry bike, though for a 2010 model, 2300 equipped bike, that's not a huge bargain when you consider the similarly equipped SBC Allez sold for £499 as a current model, and now goes for under £400 (if you can find one).

Oh, and "ideal for initiation" just sounds kinky.
