I went in to my local PCWrld and they had these on the shelf at £160.02 off the usual price. I tried it with my iPhone and it sounds great especially at high volume. I asked abouot Bluetooth and they said I'd have to buy an adapter (around a tenner on eBay) that sits on the iPod/Iphone dock (not lightning) which is why they have been heavily reduced. Some stores running out overnight, so grab one while you can as these are great quality soundbars with a powerful wired sub-woofer, so read the reviews to see for yourselves.

Wonder which model it is?

Is it the m12 anyone know?

They had 2 demo's in the Tottenham Court Road branch and one sold while I was there. They looked up other stores and some had several, some none left at all. Reserve and collect. The optical in means these will work with Samsung etc. flat screens which don't have great sound like mine. New soundbars have Bluetooth but are so expensive for not a lot of improvement in sound IMHO. I wanted a boxed ne so reserving one at another store now.

As an iPhone dock these are great. As a soundbar they are very lacking. They are stereo only and the surround effect is not too impressive sadly. Good price though for a good dock.

I think gunark talks rubbish, but is entitled their own opinion.

You must have been there around the same time as me! Spotted these too but not knowing the value of one. I was buying RAM and walking around with it in my hand with the alarm beeping!

I did hear some alarms going off...how funny! My company is a member of Xexec which gives us 7% off PCWorld but you have to buy a gift card and load it up, so the so called bargain can disappear off the shelves by the time the card comes through the post, so I have just reserved one rather than risk losing it. They only had ex-demo models which had scratches on the surface, so I asked the staff to check their computer system how many Catford branch had in stock. They can do this and apparantly they will call you on your given number if it is an ex-demo to ask if you still want it to save you driving up.If it is boxed, they don't contact you. I'd rather get the boxed as you get a brand new piano black finish, remote and an optical lead too for your TV/Stereo input. When I tried this in the store we cracked it right up to the point it was embarrasing and it sounded superb. As good as the £350 LG which had Bluetooth in my opinion, so not bad for a £120 unit.

So can anyone confirm the model number?

I do often talk rubbish and I guess that is my opinion but I've owned one and I own a Yamaha proper AV soundbar and they are worlds apart in sound and capabilities. These are great to boost the TV sound but not for any kind of surround sound in the Dolby / DTS fashion. Just so people are aware as they can be misleading.

Which model did you have?

Not bad price at all. Bought mine around 6 mths ago for £175. For £120 its a no brainer!

I think it's the T12V2 as the bar had a material front and the v3 has a metal front. I took a photo of the barcode and it has a label stating 'orbitbar12' with an item number 258769 which doesn't tell you much once you look it up on the PCWorld website. They didn't have any boxes and just very limited label data as it was a clearance item. The boxed model I reserved is at Catford which I'll have to drive up to tomorrow and pickup in the car. Once I have it I'll update the exact model details.

This is a good price for a decent sound bar so hot from me!
#14
Excellent find, ive tried the v3 and the smaller T19 at John Lewis; both give excellent sound clarity.....no stock available in my area......gutted! :(
#15

#16
