For those who have bagged an Xbox One this Christmas... Been looking for good games. Haven't seen this one mentioned yet, but gets great reviews and an Xbox One exclusive.

Appears to be discounted on Microsoft store for next 8 days.

I would have happily paid £30 for it. Disc going for that on Amazon... Download only on Amazon £15.99

For the first couple of hours I thought this was one of the best games I've ever played. The art direction, the soundtrack, the overall look and feel was awesome, but then frustration set in with things like the requirements for millimetre perfect jump combinations.

Writing for "Game Informer", Andrew Reiner gave the game a 9.5/10, praising its accessible yet challenging gameplay, well-designed controls, strong storytelling, surprising plot twists, rewarding exploration, orchestrated music, breathtaking and mesmerizing environmental design, as well as the wonderfully scripted challenges, which requires players to utilize creative thinking.

Destructoid 9.5/10
EGM 9/10
Gamespot 9/10
Polygon 9/10
VideoGamer .com 9/10

"An artistic masterclass on virtually every level—it begins perfectly, it ends perfectly, and it delivers a bounty of beautiful, creative platformer goodness in between. It is, perhaps, 2015's first inevitable lock for year-end top ten lists."

IMO... which it should do, great platformers/adventure games are only great because of the challenging so therefore replayable levels/obstacles. :D

Isn't that just the PC version though? I don't think it's Play Anywhere so it would be cheaper in a Steam sale I suspect.

This one isn't on Play Anywhere sadly. Microsoft really should have backwards extended that program to cross-platform titles from last year like this and Gears Utimate Edition.

Not content with winning Strictly Come Dancing - now he has his own game?

Great game. Very beautifully done for a non-blockbuster game. Visually enticing and an excellent platformer. Picked this up when it was a few quid a while ago on the Russian Store, worth every penny.

Under £3.50 via the Russian store, thanks for the heads up OP! :D

Finished the game 100% on PC and it said I had died 700+ times at the end 8) The game gets much easier though once you have double/triple jump.. Just a shame the early difficulty put a lot of people off of a great game.
