Just spotted this and seen that it got a fair bit of heat last month and this is a tiny bit cheaper at only £19.95.

It ships from china (despatches within 24hrs according to the info on the link) so should get here in time for Christmas if you're thinking of buying as a gift.
There are 2379 pieces quoted as being in stock at the time of posting so plenty to go round BUT this price is advertised as a "flash sale" and so will expire and go back up 34% in price in 4days and 3hrs or so from now.

For anyone buying this product, DO NOT install the latest version of the Mi Fit app, there are faulty firmware updates for the band that are pushed out with the Mi Fit app that basically broke the Heart Rate sensor, broke sleep tracking, and made the calorie count completly inaccurate. in other words it makes the mi band 2 completely useless for anything other than a watch to tell the time....

- DO NOT just go to Google Play and install the latest version of Mi Fit, the app automatically updates the mi band 2 firmware with the broken firmware without giving you the choice of whether you want to upgrade or not.

- If you've already installed the latest version of Mi Fit and updated the firmware it's too late, you cant roll back the firmware and you will have to wait and hope Xiaomi fix the issue, so far in 30 days they havent fixed it.

- Find Mi Fit App version 2.1.9 this will update your band to firmware v1.0.0.39 . This is the last safe version. DO NOT install any newer versions of Mi Fit.

- Xiaomi software support is very poor they dont seem to care about fixing the issues wioth their faulty firmware (bugs introduced in firmware v1.0.0.53).

Take a look on the Xiaomi forums and see howe many people are complaining about the issues with the faulty firmware. It was a great product before the faulty firmware killed it..

http://en.miui.com/thread-386280-1-1.html

- NOTE: gearbest and banggood are not official Xiaomi resellers so Xiaomi dont honour warranty on products purchased from from them !

do not worry about the tight stock, ordered mine and was shipped within 24 hours, delivery via expedited took 10 business days but according to the tracking info it was sat in london for 5 days. Good little product, not too sure of its accuracy as of yet but for £20 worth the money.

are the green lights underneath working??

or have you got the show hr on band turned on?

it does only show for about 1-2 secs before going off-unless you tap quickly on the band.

Doing it on the band never seems to work for me, but doing it from the app does... Odd.

Got mine on Saturday. Everything seems to work fine - it updated the firmware as soon as it was connected, and using the latest Android App, the HR functions fine. It is possible to get it to continuously update HR when running, but I've not discovered how to access that data yet, but it shows on the screen phone as you use it . I only used that function the first time yesterday. I can measure instantaneous HR either via Band or Phone App. It matched up to the running machine HR. Also alerts for EMail, FB, Whatsapp, Messages and Calls, etc (you can choose up to 5 different Apps I think - maybe more), if you set it up. So far, so good....

Cheaper at Geekbuying; £18.47 for the Chinese version or £20.08 for the international version (was same as the Chinese version a few days ago).

Bought one for the Mrs a few weeks ago. I was surprised how fast it arrived from China. It was very well packaged and works well. Just bought one for myself to see if the idle function motivates me enough to get me off the settee. ;)

Anyone got one of these linked to iOS? I hear great things about Android but me, my missus and my Dad (potential gift recipients) are all on iPhone.

Took a week for mine to turn up, even though it was on the lowest postage charged. Feels more comfortable than the Sony band i had, even to sleep with, and has bonus of a time/date, so bargain!

PS - The band that comes as standard isn't too huge (like the originals), but I also bought a stainless steel one to go with it - I think the black one would probably look nicer though, now that I have it... it's still ok though.

Iphone works. However unlike apple watch, you need to download the app and open the app to sync to the IOS Health app/data

It then merges in

No, and the Chinese one can be a bit flakey apparently (might be security issues if you use certain aspects of the band as well).
