Cold hands, warm heart? What claptrap. If your hands are cold, everything else is brass monkeys too. That’s why a decent hand warmer is just the ticket. But keeping warm and looking cool isn’t easy. So thank goodness the ultra stylish Zippo Hand Warmer is such hot stuff!

Brought to you by the bods behind the world’s most iconic lighter, this gleaming hand warmer looks like the kind of thing James Dean might have used to warm his mitts. But the Zippo is more than just a pretty face because it radiates serious heat without a flame, as it cleverly utilises a technique called catalytic combustion. It’s like having a full-on fire in your pocket without all the coal, twigs and messy burny bits.
Thanks to a platinum catalysed glass fibre burner (no, not a clue), the gorgeously crafted Zippo can produce up to ten times more heat than rival hand warmers and lasts up to 12 hours with a single 12ml filling of lighter fuel. Amazing!

Operating the Zippo is easier than losing your gloves. Simply remove the lid, light the burner, wait for the clever indicator bar to turn red (there’s no flame, remember), pop it back in its protective warming bag (this baby gets really hot) and Jack Frost’s your second uncle twice removed. Mmm... instant warmth.
Weighing in at a mere 272 grams, the Zippo is ideal for campers, skiers, fishermen, mountaineers, football fans, festival goers and anyone else prone to chilly mitts. Blowing into cupped hands? Bah! Fondling a Zippo is where it’s at.

Surely the coolest way to stay warm in these chilly climes, the Zippo is destined to become the hand warmer of choice amongst sub-zero trend setters across the land. So hit the Buy button (assuming you can get your mittens off) and get your mitts on one pronto.
Please Note:
Requires lighter fluid (not included)
1 year manufacturer's guarantee
No Flame - The platinum-catalyzed glass fiber burner offers quick and sure lighting. Produces a radiant heat without the flame.
Extra Warmth - Produces more than 10 times as much heat as most disposable warmers.
Economical - Constant warmth for up to 12 hours with just 0.4 oz of fuel.
Environmentally friendly - Reusable (except for the burner) and virtually pollution free. Low odor makes it ideal for hunters... Apparently!
Convenient size - Thin profile makes the Hand Warmer easy to use and carry.

What a boring voice :) Good product though
will take a look at this, thanks
useful gadge...not sure if I need it though.
Great stuff - ordered may ease the arthritis in winter flare
Ups I hope
Great deal, used to use these in the army and they'll make a great present this Christmas.
Should add a phone to it :p
god I miss smoking...nothing like the click of the zippo and the smell of petrol as you lit your fag and took a long drag
Who uses a handwarmer?

Who uses a handwarmer?

someone who has cold hands ?
Or arthritis like
DAMMIT. Bought 2 of these from Firebox for £19.99 each (minus £2 quidco each though) so £17.99 just last week as well!!

Typical! I bought them for presents so I don't have a review yet but I opened one and they don't look up to much mechanics wise. They are just large lighters but instead of a flint they have like metal wire in the place the flint would be which I guess glows.

I guess I'll find out if they're any good at Christmas though.
i have one of these
the best you can get ??
lasts overnight !!!
brilliant bit of kit
Why expired?
Looks good. Why is this expired??
Not expired
For those who are interested in this...bare in mind you'll need a lighter in order to use this hand warmer.
ordered one thanks , unit will need burner every 80 uses
great find... I have those boil in the bag ones for taking the dog for a walk in the winter but theyre not that good... especially if your on the phone!! this will be just the ticket!
These are fantastic, I love mine. Great build quality too.
Damn this site and all it's shiny things to spend my money on ;) heat added :)
wouldnt this one be better:

Ok its more expensive, but you dont need replacement burners and its has an on/off switch.
and yes i know it needs batteries! but maybe both items balance eachother out at the end in terms of cost?
Strictly for southerners only or those of a nesh disposition. I got one of these 3 years ago at a table top sale, been in a drawer ever since - purely novelty value. X)

Could be useful for cooking off the chips on your shoulder! :{
Well I'm a soft southerner complete with Frostbite marks from trips onto Glaciers while snowboarding so I am obviously as soft as s**t. Have always used the Gel packs in the past, great for first aid kits as well. But may well promote this to my main heat source. Not sure it would be as safe for pre-warming sleeping bag on winter M/Cycle camping trips though!
Tempted, nice find OP :)
For those of you that missed this deal, you can get it on ebay at £15.49 including postage.

I'm interested. But the seller only has a feedback of 3 (which is a concern), and that was as a buyer, not a seller. Has anyone ordered from them?
Just got one from Ebay at £16 delivered.... Roll on winter :)
