Just in my local Homebase (Botley, in Oxford) and saw these on sale for £9.99. They said the RRP was £59.99 (can't imagine anyone would pay that) but they were on clearance for less than a tenner. There was a pile of about 20 of them.

Cheap and cheerful for the summer.

Good price for a gas BBQ whatever the RRP.
Can't imagine they'd be less than this in the summer, HOT.
To answer my previous question - no these would appear different to the WG2200 2 Burner Gas BBQ Argos ones:

Reviews aren't great, quite a few saying that it's a nightmare to put together and also the actual cooking leaves a lot to be desired, but for £10....voted hot. Any idea what kind of gas it uses? Patio or normal propane?

I won’t repeat what everyone else has said about how long this takes to put together, but suffice to say this should be better described as a ‘kit’. However I have bought cheap and expensive BBQ’s in the past and this has to be the poorest performer. With the heat shield fitted there is no heat to the grill apart from just one spot at the rear, this has produced poor cooking results. I initially liked the improved style of burner, it has two long tubes rather than the flat plate type which rust away, but this has a corrugated metal heat shield presumably designed to disperse the gas but it does not work. Why didn’t they just have a second grill which you could place lava rocks on beneath the cooking grill. Unless the other contributors who have found good results omitted this item?

I agree with all the comments about difficult assembly - I could deal with that if it actually got hot enough to cook anything!
Burner performance is really poor, compared to other gas barbecues - and if you read the small print of the specifications on the instruction leaflet you can see why - max heat output is 3.6 Kwatts - most similarly sized gas barbecues are more than 7. Food takes a long time to cook - however no danger of burning it, but you might get food poisoning.
It's a shame the information on the box doesn't include the burner rating
Why is this getting voted cold?
maybe because its expired?
