After 5% Quidco the value is £28.49. Not good deal ?

theres no mention of a hydrostatic head rating, meaning it probably isn't waterproof at all, no safety unless it's a perfect day/night with no rain.

there is also no mention of what the poles are made from, again, meaning not great in winds perhaps?

Sounds a good deal.
Also check out Aldi & Lidl for cheap tents when they are on offer.

Most Osprey tents have a hydrostatic head rating of 2000mm which is only just above the minimum requirement for being classed as waterproof, still at this price great to chuck in the back of the car for a weekend:)

Voted hot - just ordered one for going to a festival. At £30 I don't have to worry too much about it...and as it's not Glastonbury I'm going to I don't need to worry as much about how waterproof it is.

So waterproof.....yay or nay? I mean surely if it was £80 it would be waterproof?

Lol. That's the problem with Woolworths. This product will never have been £80 in the first place. Woolworths are the biggest rip off merchants in the UK today. They put loads of stuff on their website and in their shop windows and say that it's been reduced from such and such a price when it never was that price.

The best example being a hedge trimmer a few months back. They had it reduced from £200 but when you went the the manufacturers website the rrp was actually £80.

They also do it with laptops all the time. I'm sure it fools some people in to buying but obviously not enough because it is pretty much bankrupt.

Following the above post, if anyone wants a tent that will be exactly the same except cheaper then get it from here (a number of other tents and accessories are available at a much better price than you would get with Woolworths)

It is just about the perfect set for t in the park. I've got the two man version for future ventures up to Kinross. Judging by the weather so far this year I'm lucky that I'm golfing in Spain when it's on this year.

Invalid again, I think I also tried it yesterday with the same result...

Anymore kicking about, preferably working of course ;)

I've emailed SportHQ to ask why YAW isn't working because it is a discount code that you get through certain companies for a scheme called You At Work. It should work but I checked to and it doesn't for me either.

Just not true.

"Fabric with a hydrostatic head of 1000 mm or less is best regarded as shower resistant, with 1500 mm being usually suitable for summer camping. Tents for year-round use generally have at least 2000 mm; expedition tents intended for extreme conditions are often rated at 3000 mm. Where quoted, groundsheets may be 5000 mm or more."

- I've seen elsewhere that 1500mm is bare minimum recommended for UK.

Thats what I said! 2000mm is only just above the minimum requirement!
