Osram energy saving lightbulbs 5 for 40p @ Co-op

Popped into my local co-op last night and noticed this deal, 5 bulbs for 40p. That makes 10 bulbs for 80p, which beats the Dunelm deal of 10 for 99p.

Our local store has these, great price. No minimum amount at our local though, they are just priced up at 8p each.

Shame I stocked up years ago at the "amazing" price of 2 for 99p. Hindsight is great isn't it :D

Hi Eve C
Thanks for posting. And welcome to HUKD.
It is good practice to also add the merchant and price to the title. Something like “Osram energy saving lightbulbs 5 for 40p instore @ Co-Op"
It helps people who are just browsing through. And in my experience your post will get a few more “hot” votes.

It’s well worth taking a look at.
Again, thanks for posting, and welcome to HUKD.
Kind regards Andy

The current "low energy" bulbs will be energy inefficient within two years with the introduction of LED bulbs.

So dont stock up with kit to last you for years - when the current subsidies will be swapped to funding 2 - 5 Watt LED bulbs

well if u have 10 left i am sure the bin will cope with them as well as your wallet for that price

Possibly, but it will be 10 years before they are the same price.
