Seems a good deal for a Fuji - the 97p bit means it's clearance so probably not much stock.

Blurb from Dixons

The Fujifilm FinePix AV130 Compact Digital Camera is perfect for those taking their first steps in the world of digital photography. This 12mp camera will take sharp snapshots and save them onto an SD card with a minimum of fuss! Transferring files to a computer or sharing them is simplicity itself.

The FinePix AV130 has the features necessary to take clear pictures in all situations. Digital image stabilisation keeps blurry images away, and a sensitivity that goes up to ISO 3200 will allow you to cope with low-light conditions. A scene recognition mode even applies the optimum settings for you. Just point and shoot!

The Fujifilm FinePix AV-130 also has a fun panorama function that stitches a burst of photos together for you and delivers an extra-wide shot.

Looking for an affordable camera that will be easy to use and deliver quality images? The Fujifilm FinePix AV130 Compact Digital Camera is for you!

OK deal for a basic camera but be aware it's AA powered. Even if that's what you want it should be cheaper (no charger or Li-ion battery in box).

Rubbish - another general statement with no alternative offered. You are looking at either a refurb or something like a Vivitar for the same price with a similar spec. With a rechargeable battery add another £10-15 at least.

Anyway several people must have thought it a good deal as it's now out of stock.

Although the camera with built in batteries last alot longer. Its always handy for camera to take AA so you can change them on the move with spares.Uunless your prepaired to buy another spare rechargeable battery for the camera.

Not biased are you? - Oh yes, it's your deal!

Don't be so precious. I offered valid comment for those you may be looking and need to weigh up the AA issue (for and against). Similar Fuji cameras have been as low as £39.99 in the past and may be again, yet I still said it's an 'OK deal'.

I may be biased but you are still spouting rubbish on the price. Similar Fuji cameras haven't been available for £39.99 unless you are talking one-off finds in-store or the recent Amazon 'glitch' which was an error rather than a deliberate deal.
To infer there may be better/cheaper deals out there for an equivalent AA camera when there aren't and very rarely have been before, is just wrong.

I retract the original statement and replace it with this paraphrased one -

OK info for a basic statement but be aware it's lack of evidence powered. Even if that's what you want it could be cheaper to ignore it (no thought or effort in box).
