Replacement lamps are around £5 be interested to know what the lifetime is for lamps when used with a PIR ?

dont all flood to buy it first

Look at the 10 watt led floods. They are a similar price and available from a variety of sources. No warm up time and cheaper to run. I prefer them. :D

Generating Black Energy is a frighteningly expensive palaver, so any saving in use is welcomed.

The tubes won't appreciate being hooked up to a PIR - it'll shorten their life dramatically. Get an LED one instead. A greater energy saving and should last much longer.

Thats what I thought, which is strange that this comes up on the same page as a 'related product' ?

When I went to this site my ESET Nod32 anti-virus flashed up the site as "Potential Phishing Threat".

The tubes look like PL-T. I have one in a restored streetlight and it takes a good couple of minutes to warm up to full brightness. These will give minimal light for the short time a PIR typically switches on for. LEDs are instant and are happy with short on-periods.
