Outnumbered follows the daily chaos of family life with two parents and three young children locked in an unequal contest. Containing strong elements of improvisation, this comedy is an honest portrayal of the well meaning parental incompetence that happens in most homes, as Mum and Dad attempt to raise their kids with the minimum of emotional damage for all concerned. Includes all the episodes from the show's first and second series.

Not just me then, although my children would disagree.

Yes it is.
Predictable one liners, very cringe worthy.

Not my cup of tea.

Yes (apart from anything featuring Lenny Henry, Johnny Vegas, Russell Brand and Jack Dee)

I thought Lenny Henry's only work these days was for Premier Inn? Which aren't that funny I'll grant you :)

I really like Outnumbered, but I think you need to be a parent to appreciate it properly.
#7
Hasn't Outnumbered been posted on here like 12 times in the past week?

Yup. Damn right. Painful to watch. I can't fathom why it's so unfunny. It has great writers, and I 've always liked Hugh Dennis & Claire Skinner in everything they've done.

Shocking series, I can echo the comments of previous posters.

Third series has just finished :-(

Find it very funny in parts. One of the better comedy series on TV.

Its coming to GOLD from Wednesday - I assume S1. Which is good 'cos I never got round to watching this, and don't really want to spend £13 finding out its as bad as everyone ese on here is making out

Not quite everyone - as usual, the nay-sayers have the louder voice! I thought it was hilarious.

It's the only programme that we watch as a family.
Views on comedy as with most TV progs is purely subjective.
Personally I found The Office the biggest load of drivel ever but then you probably found it hilarious. And as for Little Britain let's not even go there.
Each to his own.

Alternatively ... I really like Outnumbered too and think you might need to have had a parent or two to appreciate it properly.

Definitely a Marmite comedy!

Yes and YES!
Outnumbered is a bit cringy in places, but does have it's moments where it's genuinely funny. Seeing them all on Jonathan Ross made me like it a little more too!

Awful comedy, awful program. Unfunny drivel.

Only people who find this funny are middle class dribbing hunchbacks who 'relate' to this show as they have somehow managed to raise some offspring themselves.
#22
If by middle class you mean managing to raise offspring yourself without relying on the taxpayer and Threshers to do it for you, give me middle class every time...
