Anyone had any experiences with this tent?

Considering buying it to take to a festival this summer, seems to be the best for the price.

3000mm hydrostatic head and taped seams
looks to be well waterproof with 3000mm hydrostat looks worth 30 quid

Always £30 or less

Yeah they are the same as the decathlon tents (which are vey good btw, survived a 4 day rain session at glade this year) which are £29.99 as standard..

A word of warning though i had a tent (not this one) same shape and design though, while it was fine for me (a little cramped) there is now way on earth you would ever get two people in one of these! Unless you were 5st or children.

I got mine from CDiscount £24.99

It may have been the same shape and design but not the same size!!
This is perfectly big enough for 2 full grown adults to sleep in. I have had mine for about a year and it is an excellent product and great value at £30

What does everyone think about this as an alternative:

The 'porch' at the front is a big plus for me on that one.

I bought one of these about 2 years ago. It is fantastic. Paid £60 for it then as they were fairly new. Got the 2 man one and 2 of us fit in there with an air bed no probs. Not a lot of room to move around but for one or 2 nights it's perfect. We traveled around Europe and it was fab to be able to put the tent up in seconds. On the waterproof side, it's pretty damn good too. The air bed touches the sides and it has never leaked in. We have been sitting in half a foot of water after heavy rain and not a drop got through. Would definitely recommend!

I have the deacathalon Quechua tent, it's amazing, people watch in envy as it pops up and you just get in it, whilst they're struggling with the poles in the rain!! Also VERY waterproof, can't comment on the one listed here though..

Thanks.

I very, very nearly bought it - but I really do not like the thought of not having a porch, especially as I'm taking it to a festival. It's nice to have a little porch to sit in.

I ended up buying this from Marshall Ward for £29 delivered:

http://www.marshallward.co.uk/cadaques-3-person-tent/prod51692.prd?_requestid=3907&browseToken=/q/cadaques

It'll take longer to set up obviously, but it's larger and has a porch so should do the job.

Nice, at least you wil be able to fnd it with that colour when you're staggering back to your tent drunk at 6am!

Hah, indeed. I'm great at getting lost at festivals so that's definitely a bonus.

It's got 2000mm PU as well - which is pretty good for a 3 man tent that price, most <£30 tents only have 1500, which is a bit risky.

Ordered and voted Hot!
Thanks!

Prefered the look of this one over the Decathlon.

You won't be dissapointed. Outwell are up there with Vango among the leading tent manufacturers. Now we just need the weather to improve

Got it yesterday!
Very quick postage and gave it a quick whirl in the living room! I'm impressed!

I'm just wondering how it compares with the Quickpitch Elite (not the SS) at Amazon.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Gelert-Quick-Pitch-Marine-Paloma/dp/B001NPD0GW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=sports&qid=1249627581&sr=8-1

I've got one of these and it's great, but we need another.

Think I need a tent and this one looks to tick all the boxes. I'm also looking forward to (as per the video) seeing it vitually auto-set-itself-up :-)

Heat added :santa:

None of the tents compared to this tent in these messages are as good quality as this one. Why vote cold when you are comparing prices with something that is clearly not as good and is cheaper for a reason? Just leave your keyboard alone and stop typing **** for the sake of it! Heat added! and I will be bying one, thanks.

This is a fantastic little tent and still available and at this price a total steal. I've got the 3 man version it's great and is set-up in no time at all.
