Here's the new catalogue item that's £49.99 but basically the same bag:

http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Search?storeId=10001&catalogId=1500002701&langId=-1&searchTerms=9275922

I'd never pay £50 for it, £16.99 is a really good price for a 2 season double.

Out off stock in my stores, but good price if you can get one.

I bought the Vacanza by Outwell Pacific Single Sleeping Bag 018/2870 today. Reduced from £34.99 to £9.99. It's much better made and bigger than the Regatta Sleeping Bag on here yesterday that I also purchased. I would prefer to buy two singles than the double for a few quid more as you can use them on their own or zip them together for a double that is 180cm wide compared to the 150cm of this.

From one of the reviews of the Vacanza singles "The first point to note is that these sleeping bags come as either a left zip or right zip. This is indicated on compression sack, by a tag near the label that say "L" or "R". If you're buying one sleeping bag, this won't make much difference, as you can turn the sleeping bag over, as required, the only thing you'll notice is the name is either face down or face up. The left/right zip becomes a problem if you're buying two sleeping bags to zip together. Ideally you'll want two the same, but Argos do not give you the choice so it'll be pot luck which you get, initially we ended up with both. The reason this matters is because each sleeping bag incorporates a zip baffle. When two sleeping bags are zipped together you'll want a baffle down each zip. This will only happen if you gett two zips the same, i.e. two left or two right."

Got one today, nice polycotton inner (main reason I got it) and stuff sack is fine... unlike the guy that had problems with it in the Argos review. :)

Thanks OP!

Hooray! I got one today. My wife picked it up for me and it was the last one in Ayrshire.
