  Bought this 'extra tasty' chicken from Morrisons twice now, and returned it for refund both times. Found horrible jelly-ish texture inside, which they said may be the 'extra tasty' liquid they inject into them. Never again.

  My Mother in law asked a Morrisons assistant what makes them Extra tasty. Apparently it's more salt.

  1 - By Humans........ which it won't be
  2- Humanely...... which it MAY be.
  
  Either way, if you pay £3 for a chicken, the words " extra tasty " will refer to the chemicals injected into it, rather than any notion of the chicken having lived and eaten well.
  
  If you want quality food, you pay proper prices. We buy our chickens from a source we know well, okay it costs more but for under a tenner we know where it's from and how it was reared and fed, rather than eating gawd knows what. It's the texture of these cheap ( no pun intended ) chickens that puts me off..... horrible.

  I can second this - we asked the guy in West Kirby Morrisons and the 'Extra Tasty' bit means they inject the chicken with a saline solution, mmmmmm.
